The writer & director Bruce Robinson was the voice.
Ra-Ra's (chocolate mini donuts).
I'm not sure if it's an actual thing or not? But you can see a chocolate bag with red waiting that says Ra Ra.
Also, someone named Aurelius D on rotten tomatoes said "He lives on Ra-Ra's (chocolate mini donuts), coffee and nicotine"
I was not aware the were mini doughnuts, I don't see them making it clear in the movie they are donuts. I thought it was referred to as chocolate only in the film. So I'm lead to believe that Aurelius D knows about them as he was specific enough to call them donuts.
I'm still wondering. And am craving hedgehogs as I watch it now on Halloween.
6.4 on IMDB sounds reasonable. It's the third highest ranked in the series next to Dream Warriors at 6.6 and part 1 at 7.5. Only one star least than the original, sounds about right to me.
The kid Dylan kind makes it hard for me to watch. I didn't care for his acting at all otherwise I'd rate it a bit higher. Maybe a 7.
Freddy's Dead, now that's underated! 4.9 on IMDB? That's the lowest ranked nightmare out of all of them and I think it's actually pretty good.
I've been a fan of the series since I was a child. I realized right away when I saw part 2 that this series cannot be compared from part to part. Each is different.
I think where people go wrong is that they don't enjoy each individual movie for what it is. Instead I think people are in a way comparing one thing or another. The feel, the style, the look, how some are dark and others are comedic etc... Sadly, people are to close minded.
This isn't a "shitfest", it's actually pretty creative and enjoyable. Freddy is better than boring ass killers like Jason that don't do anything. zzz I my opinion, the kills in this series are better than in any other horror franchise.
HEY! you forgot the Power Glove!
Everyone's acting sucked. Probably the director's fault. Good cast and everyone was off their game.
Kiefer's acting was questionable in Dark City too.
I enjoy it. It's kind of a guilty pleasure.
It has a great cast, but somehow it's not a "good" movie. I mean it's not bad, but it's just off. It's been quite some time since I've seen it, but as I recall Dennis Hopper was lead and his acting was sub par, really, I think everyone's acting was off. With the right director on board, this could have been a blockbuster. Something was holding it back, but I can't help but get a bit nostalgic for it.
It's nice to see you guys all getting along. Sounds like things have picked up a bit here in movie chat. I'm getting a little Nostalgic.
I used to hang out in IMDb's Soapbox 12-16 hours a day and it was comforting getting to know everyone. I even met a girl, later to become my ex-girlfriend there. That was a decade ago though. I'm not sure if any of the old soapboxers are here ;(
I'm in Canada and got the Tubi TV app on my phone. Xfinity and Comcast not required. It is decent, but there are a few advertisements to pay for the free service.
Yes, it's a good movie if you don't mind something a little weird.
Good Canadian cast
Here's a funny clip from it

To many movies play it safe with happy endings. They're over rated and are too common in the US.
So many movie scripts get alerted in the American film industry sad really.
I found a list of products online somewhere of food that doesn't need to be refrigerated. I was surprised by all the stuff that doesn't need to be in there and actually tastes Way Better if kept at room temperature.
Do a google search, get the list, print it out and stick it in your fridge for reference.
It looks like this list was taken directly from MY brain LOL
I'm going to avoid all the others I read in the comments already, I've seen most of them and agree.
I'll also avoid movies that were NOT underrated. Like The idiot in the comments who mentioned Terminator 2. That was NOT underrated. Everyone agreed that movie was groundbreaking in digital effects and paved the way for computer animation. It's in the top 50 movies on IMDb for Christ sakes. I guess Matrix was also underrated LOL what a pile of shit
"Waterworld" was generally disliked. I almost didn't like it myself. It got better with repeated viewings same as "last action hero"
Village of the damned
Universal soldier
Tank girl
Species
RocketMan (1997) hahahahaha
Pi not sure if it belongs here, it actually have a good rating, but I feel like not many people saw it?
Lost in Space (1998) IMSb 5.2? Really!?
Johnny Mnemonic
Highlander II: The Quickening (1991) 4.3?! Why all the hate? I really liked this one.
Hardware, guilty pleasure
Ghost in the machine, more cheese 🧀 LOL
Freejack, Mick Jagger as a villain!
Evolver, Okay, it deserved 5.6... Or less haha
Demolition Man, did someone say that already?
Early 2000's anybody?
Fortress 2
Supernova (I) (2000) James spader
Highlander: Endgame (2000)
Cube²: Hypercube (2002)
Rollerball (2002), 3.1 ouch!
Stay alive (2006) a Brainscan fan would love it so I had to mention it.
Yes, I come in peace is the title in Canada.
Don't Go to Sleep (1982). For a TV movies is got a good UMDb rating or 6.7. I may have to check that one out.
When's Celebrity Crush (2019) releasing? I like the similar "misery" storyline.
The movie be has coming you next year, The Rideshare Killer (2021), has Eric Roberts! I really liked 2-3 decades ago. He used to be one of my favorite actors.
"Anyone have any ideas on good ways to get the word out about this place?"
Yes. We need some social media marketing. Spread the word.
Create Facebook, YouTube, Twitter etc... Accounts. Get them all set up with a few posts, then hit the "streets" hard, get a buzz going here.
Goto the other knock off IMDb message board sites, get them onboard to all come support this place. If only for a little while, to help the "Buzz" and get done momentum here.
We could start by making several posts here to create a buzz and get a group of people together to help "adverse the place".
Get some interested people here to create social media accounts to maintain.
Maybe have a few "meetings" to get everyone in the same page. It would take a little organizing.
If this place is ever going to get popular, it's going to need to get it's name or there.
IMO, Moviechat is going to fade away and die if someone doesn't "take the reigns" and go on an "awareness campaign".
The way things are going, it's just a matter of time before the place is gone due to lack of interest.
First, we need someone passionate enough to be the "boss", someone who knows a little bit about organizing and media marketing preferably.
If say more, but I have to run.
Bye
Shame, I remember some of the actors smaller rolls from when he was a kid, he wasn't too bad.
He's got a movie coming out next year, other than that only 2 other movies in 3 decades since Poltergeist II that he's acted in. Everything's else is behind the scenes, mostly writing and directing.
Oh cool, does it translate to English well. I'd like to hear it.
Thank you so much! I appreciate that SOMEONE read all that.
I seriously doubt the OP will read it, as the post was made before IMDb shut down the boards.
Anyhow, I really don't know if this is what the writers were trying to convey. This is just how I perceived the film.
For I'm all I know I'm WAY of base here. 😜
