He was the 10th post down which is deleted now, sounds like he may have been grumpy and was trying to troll. Not sure what he was like normally but adds up to me.

If people know each other and are having fun with it then fair enough. I guess when I saw his post I wondered if he was having a shot at myself as he seemed to mimic some of my post. I don't/didn't know the guy so I can only go by my own judgement. That is the bad thing about the written form you only get the words not facial expressions or tone of voice which tends to let you know if someone is kidding or not.
share You're spot on about facial expressions and tone, it's hard to convey certain things like good natured joking in black and white...happily, most of the GD users have been chatting a long time and jokes tend to translate just fine
damo is a fun and interesting person but I never saw him (?) flame or troll anyone...hopefully this was just an odd fluke and we get our guy back tomorrow👍
Sometimes I disagree with what he says. He uses to be civil and articulate, though. In general¹, this forum is quite civilized. I hope he wasn't banned.

If Xfinity/Comcast is your cable provider, you can watch Tubi films on your TV. You can click Info on any movie and scroll down, click on any cast member to see other films they were in. LOTS of their other films have Tubi access.

I used to hang out in IMDb's Soapbox 12-16 hours a day and it was comforting getting to know everyone. I even met a girl, later to become my ex-girlfriend there. That was a decade ago though. I'm not sure if any of the old soapboxers are here ;(
