I don't care about Cruise, but the movie is really nothing new or fresh. Twenty years ago it would have probably been novel, but at this point you really won't miss out on anything at all if you don't see it.
Nah.
I must have missed that.
Yes, this was a much better movie.
Well, I can't say that I am surprised.
For me the fat boy's breasts were uncomfortable to look at.
It was good, but you should watch the web series first.
I finished watching it, it was initially very difficult to get into, especially since a lot of what was being said wasn't exactly meaningful to someone like me, for whom religion was never a part of life.
However, the later episodes do make up for it - I just wish this material was in the hands of a more skillful storyteller. There was too much that was wrong with the series, too many unfinished story lines, random plot lines that didn't go anywhere, suddenly appearing characters who were never introduced (or explained later), and so on.
I would definitely watch season 2, though.
Lol, did you follow me here? :-)
I don't know, I couldn't care less about Trump, and it doesn't prevent me from enjoying the show.
Well, in fairness, there are plenty of countries in the world where the political situation is much more volatile, and where people, I am sure, are living in much greater fear of any government changes.
Well, in their version of events Cora was a junkie who prostituted herself for a fix, and Phoebe just died anyway.
Although to be honest, I would find it entirely believable that they didn't have any friends.
But yeah, I would concede this part was glossed over. However, I am not sure any of this matters - the series turned out to be not worth the analysis.
They were religious freaks who would be too embarrassed to publicly admit the alternative. That was just some story they came up with to save face.
You saw how the mother said they didn't search for their daughters because they assumed they had run off. Their daughters were dead to them the moment that happened.
I don't know, I wasn't moved by her performance. I mean, I suppose it was okay, but it didn't haunt me like, say, Rooney Mara's performance in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
Jessica Biel has a ways to go, IMO. If anything, I think her performance in this was rather one-note.
There was some poor writing on the show, like the detective lamenting his traumatic childhood as though that's supposed to mean anything to us - his character was never developed!
But plot holes - not really, not so much.
What reason would he have to check, though? Especially considering Phoebe was terminally ill from birth.
The OP said they already saw the finale.
As for your question: yes, this was shown last episode. When Frankie was unsuccessfully performing CPR on Cora's sister and she heard the bones crack, she attacked him in that pattern.
Also, the guy Cora killed never slept with her.
Yep, the whole show turned out to be nothing special in the end.
I expected a lot better after that pilot.
What is preventing you from watching it?
I just said that Kim Dickens is 52...
Oh, now they finally caught on.
