Maybe as a second movie. I wouldn't go to a movie theater just for that. Well, I wasn't either, but the temptation was too great to think that this person she confides all her greatest fears to is in on the whole thing, since this is horror. Except that Roanoke was awesome. ***MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD*** Okay, I downloaded episodes 3 and 4 that haven't aired here in the US yet, so now I know he is actually a rapist. Not that I get it, though, precisely for the reasons outlined above. I guess he is just some kind of sicko who gets off on the woman being immobile, like a necrophile or something. I think the series would have been a lot more interesting if it went in the other direction - the woman being the liar. Especially since some of the background story lines, like his wife's suicide, are really weak. I don't see that being a realistic scenario at all. Plus the way this man switches between being a seemingly decent guy and a total creep (and fully aware of it, too) is too unnatural - it's like he has a split personality. I am enjoying it, but obviously, YMMV. You can download from the pirate bay. How do you know where I post? Do you have an alert set up or something? I normally do see two movies if I shell out for a ticket (once I even did three in the same night), but this time I got to the theater too late to do that, and needed to wake up reasonably early the next day. If at least I was able to see another movie, I wouldn't have felt like it was such a waste. I don't think this movie is worth a trip out of the house, really, let alone any money. Well, also, I gotta add: no such thing as $8.75 movie theaters in NYC. :) Try to talk about it here maybe after the season starts?.. I don't know, I personally don't have the energy or the time to search for additional discussion boards. If something interests me, I try to start a discussion here, and if there aren't enough people to participate, then oh well. I mean, it would have been nice, of course, but I'll survive regardless. :) No, the trainer voted for Gary Johnson. But that line Ivy had, about how angry she is at what this country has become, what people like Ally have made it - that kind of rage takes years to build up. She IS in it with Kai to burn everything down to the ground to start anew. That doesn't make sense to me, at least not yet. How sad for you. :-( Ivy voted for Hillary also. I don't get why she did if that's not how she truly feels, or when exactly she fell under Kai's influence. You guys are ridiculous. Her acting is great. That would have been totally ridiculous if you saw even one preview of the movie (and they were constantly on TV before it opened in theaters). But I was never familiar with Harry's work to begin with, so my mind could have never gone there regardless. The thing is, it turned out "Personal Jesus" was only used in the previews, but hearing "Behind the Wheel" in the movie was still a nice surprise. :) But yes, I appreciated the whole 80's soundtrack in the movie also. That's not how love works, though. You don't necessarily fall in love with the most beautiful person. It's just that a living situation like that in Manhattan costs so much that it's completely out of reach even to people with pretty high incomes (like $200k, say). Well, who said anything about a young bimbo? If they had an actress who looked 50, that would have been good enough. She *is* five years older than Bateman. And no, that's not what necessarily happens - she is just not aging well. Who cares about the nose - she doesn't resemble Chastain at all!
