YES!! I came here to say the exact thing about the freaking wallpaper! He sees it the first time he goes to the club YET never mentions it, and when he brought Cora there the first time, he dosent even take her in the room with the wallpaper! Plus, the masks he sees hanging in the basement, he never mentions either. I hated his role in the show. Half the finale was watching walk and talk in slow motion. OMG dont even get me started, lol
shareGood to hear I am not the only one confused about the wallpaper.
shareI have one question puleese!!! Why the hell dont we ever find out why she punched the detective 7 times, in the same manner she stabbed the guy on the beach?
And did we really have to see his blackened nails at the very end??> Really??? Like he was having a revelation that he dosent blame himself for his past, and maybe its time to stop the madness (in his personal life) and go sit on a rainbow somewhere?? OMG I just CANT.
We did find out why she punched the detective that way. It's exactly what she did when she was trying to get Frankie off her sister. The song "triggers her" and she happened to already have a knife in her hand at the beach. It's silly, but that's the explanation.
shareYes I realized that after, but never came here to edit my comment.... Now I am watching Sinner the 2nd season,,,soooooo we shall see how that goes. Wish Jessica Biel was in it, but shes not. She is exec producer though.
shareI actually prefer it this way.
I don't think I'd be watching if Biel was in this season, too.
The car was the one leaving JD's house after he got killed. They tracked the car to that creepy guy Troy (who also had died) and some traffic cam photos of the other guy they found at the "travel agency".
I think he was not talking about the wallpaper because he didn't want to lead her. Just let her do her thing and see how she reacts.
I thank you but didn't Ambrose find the wallpaper at the club ??
shareI believe it was similar printed wallpaper but not identical. As mentioned above, he couldn't lead her to places. He wanted to see if she could lead him. There was always going to be some doubt in his mind about her stories because she starts off lying from jump street.
My real question, tho we assume the answer is they must have been paid off, was why/how did Phoebe's parents say she died a month after Cora left?
paid off by whom ??
shareThey were religious freaks who would be too embarrassed to publicly admit the alternative. That was just some story they came up with to save face.
You saw how the mother said they didn't search for their daughters because they assumed they had run off. Their daughters were dead to them the moment that happened.
no one asked any questions - neighbors/church friends ???
shareWell, in their version of events Cora was a junkie who prostituted herself for a fix, and Phoebe just died anyway.
Although to be honest, I would find it entirely believable that they didn't have any friends.
But yeah, I would concede this part was glossed over. However, I am not sure any of this matters - the series turned out to be not worth the analysis.
I thought so to, on the wallpaper.
