Where was I disproving your argument? You’re reading between lines. I simply corrected your over exaggeration of their length of experience by the use of the + after already rounding up to the nearest tenth. To round up then add the “+” to insinuate its even more than 40 is the problem. To round up to the nearest zero you could say, “They both have nearly 40 years of acting experience” not, “they have 40+” Why do you continue to insist that Rock and Smith have “40+ years of acting” Rocks first role was 1985 Smith was 1988. Thats hardly “40+“ years. The how is quite simple. He was born in 1965. I also liked him in The Way Back (2010) Wonder what Mr. Knapp is up to these days. Imagine he comes across this board and sees this, lmao. That’ll be wild. That would’ve been a good name for the sequel, lol. “When Monday Came” This looks like a page of the teachers pictures, lol… I think Mr. Knapp taught social studies or something, lol. Can’t afford to buy a different car right now. I fill up every 3 days or so. At 5 dollars a gallon right now i am paying about 160 dollars a week. I pay about 700 dollars a month in gas at the moment. 60 miles one way for me. I drive upwards of 150 miles a day. I drive a dodge that gets 20mpg Yeah, they could have just Affleck at that laundry mat REALLY washing clothes and had her happen to be there as well, like she was, and have her come to him for coins, like she did. It would’ve been more organic and worked better for the script i feel. Jeez. I sat through the first 90 minutes of this movie then paused it and came here looking to see when an English King named Richard was going to appear. Now that i saw your comment I’m bummed. I could safely say though that if Tom Cruise was cast as Andy and Robert Redford as Red that it would not have anywhere near as endearing and timeless as it is. It would’ve been a mediocre 90s film that nobody watched anymore. Despite both actors being iconic themselves i don’t think the movie would’ve captured the same magic that it did with Freeman. Shawshank is my favorite movie of all time. I liked Robbins as Andy and think he did a fine job, but i can’t help but wonder how much more amazing, if at all, it would’ve been with Hanks as Andy. Red imagining Andy at the end is plausible considering that in the novella Red and Andy never reunite. It ends with Red on the bus to Fort Hancock, Texas. In the Book though it too states that Andy is innocent and that Elmo Blatch is the killer. People pretending to think that Andy is guilty are just being….obtuse, i wonder if it’s deliberate. Which is ridiculous because a warden has no authority over reducing someone’s sentence. Of course the guide would say that. I’ve known prisoners. They aren't exactly treated kindly in prison. A hosing down would be the least inhumane thing done to them. Why do people always think that Hadley committed tax evasion? He didn’t commit tax evasion. What he did with the money from his brother was perfectly legal. Norton was the one committing the tax evasion and money laundering crimes. Hadley had nothing to do with that Their dog. There is a scene of the mother trying to get the dog out from hiding. They’re on sanctions.
