That’s also a possibility. He just completely lost himself. Had nervous breakdown or so, and wrapped himself up in work and a fake persona 24/7 to help cope.
These people might as well be in another universe.
I think mostly it has to do with the year he was born. I could be wrong though so don’t quote me.
He’s had some good roles in his career. Gilbert Grape. Blow was a decent flick. Donnie Brasco was good. But i feel he’s the type of actor that another actor can slide into the role and the movie will be just fine.
He’s not the type of actor, ala Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks, id personally even add Sam Rockwell, who you can’t even imagine anyone else doing their roles. I.e they MADE the movie what it was. Depp is not that type of actor to me.
That’s what I’m thinking will be the case. She may be the mastermind behind Saul in Breaking Bad.
As i said, he’s too flamboyant to be someone who lost someone, apparently, so dear to him. Think about it. She’s all he really has. He has no family to speak of. Pretty much zero friends. She’s his world. If he lost her i don't see him acting the way he does in Breaking Bad.
I’ve watched the show multiple times but can’t recall at the moment. Did they ever show his home life in Breaking Bad? Is it possible that he’s still with her, and goes home to her at night, in that timeline?
In reality if Hadley was smart and kept his mouth shut he probably could've walked away free. With the warden dead there was no proof of his murder of Tommy. It was known that Hadley shot the kid because they said he was trying to escape. There would’ve been no other evidence to say otherwise.
I don’t know. I don’t think she’s dead. His character seemed too upbeat and flamboyant in Breaking Bad. I feel if he was a man who recently lost the love of his life he’d be a little more solemn.

Lalo is a nicname. So its not common. There being two “Lalos” in Sauls like is kind of far fetched.

Yeah, El Camino can be skipped and be no harm no foul. Better Call Saul, however, is a must see for fans of Breaking Bad.
I actually like this show better than Breaking Bad. The characters are better, in my opinion, and there aren’t any annoying characters here. Walt Jr, AKA Flynn, and Skylar were pain in the asses and unbearable, especially after multiple watches…
Here I don’t see any annoying characters. Chuck is a flawed man but you can sympathize and understand where he is coming from. Howard is a bit of a schmuck but you get a good laugh at the jackass he is when he appears on screen.
All in all i think it is a well written show with great characters.

Ive said the problem wasn’t with you rounding to 40. It was the added + that made it ridiculous. You’ve already rounded 37 to 40 adding the + means that its 42 or 43, etc…
