Loved it. Yes, loved it! Seeing Keanu & Alex in these roles again was excellent (decades older but they were as good as ever in my book), William Sadler as Death was pure gold once again, Samara Weaving & Brigette Lundy-Paine were exceptional as Billie and Thea (real standouts), the humor absolutely worked for me, and despite what some old fans... especially the very agenda-driven regressive booma crowd that screams agenda all over this site... of this series may predictably claim, I felt this movie pretty much carried the same feel and tone as the first two. Although it fittingly had a more modern touch to it, too (and offended by that I am not). *Maybe* it could’ve been stronger in some aspects, but overall I thought it was a fun, endearing, legitimately touching, and well-executed movie that most certainly did the characters justice. In other words, I liked it significantly better than those on movie boards like this did... gee, what a surprise... and frankly no less than the previous movies. *gasps* Oh yeah, I fail to see how this was such a lesser movie compared to the first two. ‘Matter or fact, regardless of how unimpressed many of the nostalgists are, this third film is being met with a far better reception than Bogus Journey - and I can definitely see why even though Bogus Journey may be my favorite. So yes, this was a most triumphant return for these excellent dudes! It’s a proper Bill & Ted film (the most mature one in more ways than one), a strong threequel, and a film that was definitely welcome in times like these (broken record propagandist privileged fascists need not apply). Can’t wait to watch it again. It does look like it’s got good, interesting things going for it. 😏 I’m game Man, this year is just.... ugh. What a loss... A supremely talented actor and above all (and by all accounts) a truly wonderful person Mr. Boseman was. He fought the hardest battle and all while being committed to his craft and work. Rest in Power, King It appears it’s actually going to be at least 10 minutes longer than that. According to Fandango, Wiki, IMDb (they’ve updated it), Amazon, Vudu, etc. Face the Music will be no shorter than 88 minutes. Some of these have it at 91-92 minutes. Well, whether it’s 88 or 92 mins (either makes sense to me), it’s safe to say this film is going to run a bit longer than 78 minutes. Seems like some ran with the idea that it was going to be around 78 minutes after the director of the film said in an interview that Bill & Ted were only going to have 1 hour and 18 minutes to save the day, lol. At any rate, stoked! Interesting choice. All of the films he’s directed have been very different from each other. #KravenIsComing Oh snap! We got none other than the miserably grumpy+broken record Scorsese up in this joint doing his gatekeeping thang! Ah, good ol’ “back in my day” Marty proving once again that he’s a pompous, out of touch, and narrow-minded fella... oh, that sleazy wise guy-loving fella! Or it’s just one of his many elitist disciples that amusingly boomas up the joint like a true a get-off-my-lawn-regressive booma, ya know. The only ones that are almost as bad as the “back in my day” anti-comic & franchise films film snob, are the “oh, but I like these particular comic films cuz they’re super dark, edgy and made for adults, not like that other critically acclaimed kids stuff that’s fantastical and not grounded at least 85% in depressing reality... I hear they ultimately tell real mature human stories but idc... so my joyless high-art self is too good for it” kind. But lol, as Marty himself proved, to his contrarian type all of these comic-based films are one in the same - and fans of these properties don’t know real cinema. Well bitching pretentious Scorseses gonna bitch (btw of course Jesus, like his pops, would rather cry about films he deems inferior over actual injustices in the world)... https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcQx7pdJUCxA37pzOAHkbwsI6hRZvHzNNWJ5tQ&usqp=CAU If they really tried him to get him to work out during his “off-season” (when he could’ve gotten into by far the best shape of his life - free of charge) and he refused, then lazy and ungrateful AF he is. Lol. But regardless of what he said (maybe joked about), it appears he did get in good shape for the role; as I’m aware he was working out months before shooting started. He was looking more muscly than ever in some pics. Nope, perhaps he won’t be the most shredded/buffest Batman we’ve seen on screen so far (he’ll definitely be one of the more athletically built), but right now he probably doesn’t need to be. Still lazy, though. XD Anyways, to no one’s surprise (and of course by no one I mean those who are familiar with his independent work) he looks absolutely killer in the trailer/teaser. If I wasn’t already sold on Battinson... I was since day 1... I am now more than ever. (Btw, Batffleck is back? Yawn.) This looks awesome. This sounds about whyte... altreich. Duh. Yo, look who it is! One of the biggest propagandist reich wing chuds on this joint... yea I’ve seen enuff of its reich wing boomer drivel... which is probably saying something given that this board, hell this entire site, is overrun with 4/8chan-dwelling reich wing magas spewing the same tired anti-lib bs they do everywhere else 24/7. Same ol’ hate-filled covfefe. Yup, the typical anglo reactionary fascist fear-mongering and bitching about diversity in film+media, madly obsessing and raging about the likes of Kamala (dat Uncle Joe, he knew the bigot reich was gonna have meltdowns over such a pick), and just spreading all this genuine propaganda about anyone/anything that’s a threat to its “jews will not replace us” racist bunker boy world. This one, like all its reactionary manbabies, thinks its kind not only represents all movie goers and an entire country (be it ‘Murica or certain places in Europe), but the ENTIRE world. Ergo, it thinks most in ‘murica are hateful dummies who want the illiterate, heretical, sleazy, and crooked AF white bro savior to be re-elected so he can finally accomplish what the reich wants (and that is to “clean up” ‘murica in true 1930’s Germany fashion). “Waaaa this is white genocide!”.... what stereotypical, paranoid and broken ass record reich wingers. The film industry that doesn’t stop offending the OP? Thank sanity it’s moving away from the olden days (days the reich desperately want back). As a result, the “go woke go broke” Hollywood-obsessed reactionaries (who grew up in a safe space PC world where their kind always had representation and were never ever challenged on any issues) naturally HATE that their anti-inclusion hate agenda isn’t embraced by anyone except by the bunker boy administration, faux news and crazed conspiratorial reich wing channels/groups. And they feel proprieties that, in their minds, belong to them are being “tainted” by those they hate. It doesn’t matter whether it’s an old or new property though; the facts are the small dick energy privileged reich want films to be theirs again! They want all their pro-exclusion (only stereotypes are allowed!) pro-misogyny, pro-bootlicking, pro-hate, pro-christian and anti-science agenda in their films again! 1 word: barf. Well, ya know what mango shitler-lover? Unless you stick to the “masterpieces” yer fellow reactionary Antonio Sabatos will make now that his never-was ass is supposedly making a reich wing/maga cultist-friendly film studio (LOL), that will never happen. Even if bunker boy gets re-elected, don’t count on your enemies in Hollywood to regress and try to appease the fragile reich. As for Don the con winning... well hey, the reich has leverage with the outdated electoral college, Russia interference (not fake news), and with gaslighting and projecting don himself being a crook who will do anything to get his way (is already trying to steal this election). But hopefully for the sake of MANY (the world) who don’t wanna live in a reich wing utopia that’ll resemble the likes of Idiocracy (as if we’re that far off), Mad Max, The Handmaid’s Tale, ‘murica pre-civil rights, etc. that won’t come to be. A black Bond and/or a female black Bond that triggers your insular reich wing self btw? Seeing how chuds have been having meltdowns over the basic idea of it, I can only imagine the avalanche they’ll create after melting like the anti-mask snowflakes they legit are if this does indeed happen. It might. So keep baiting the studios! XD #NaziTrumpsFuckOff Slick. Almost forgot this was coming out this year (well you never know with 2020). Bring it First let’s put aside the fact that this movie will have a VOD release and basically won’t have a real theatrical run, although you know this propagandist chud is aware of that (or probably isn’t because, you know, chud). Awww.... wook at it. One of the many, man pro-exclusion super fragile reich wing maga chuds on this site crying about big bad wokeness like a true broken record manbaby reich winger. What a wittle brave badass! XD Woke? So the total opposite of the fascist white bro rage agenda you approve of (and is obvs propagated by that crooked bunker boy donny)? EXCELLENT! Standing on the GOOD side history instead of the REICH side? Fuck yeah!!! That’s what the characters of this series always represented, after all. They’re not the small dick energy proud boy type, they’re loving decent dudes. *gaps* Poor u and yer fellow triggered chuds.... ya will keep crying until your dying breath over films and media cuz this industry is thankfully never going back to appease reactionary maga behinds. LOL You’re trying too hard. As hell. So to you, she deserves the unoriginal “overrated” title because filmmakers+the studios are impressed by her and she’s had one or two movies she lead flop? (Bombshell btw was basically an ensemble piece with very big names in it, and while it barely made more than its production budget, it still earned more than its production budget and had big names in it.) That’s the issue here, right? Because this actually has nothing to do with her reputation as a respected actress it seems (her A+ talents and status as a sex symbol). This is *sorta* different for an overrated post, I’ll give you that. But funny, she’s already been the leading lady - and has done a fantastic job doing so. ’Matter of fact, she received a well-deserved Oscar nom for one of those “flops” she lead — an acclaimed indie flick that earned quite a bit more than its production budget. Flop? You tell yourself that. And her future Pirates film is guaranteed to flop? Not unlikely, but we’ll check back in a few years, detractor. Some bogus criticism up in here if I do say so myself. (This is typical with broken record “this actor is overrated” posts, of course.) Well, complain about her as you please; the appropriately-rated Margot Robbie will still continue to deservingly receive big offers. No, she isn’t the best thing out there, albeit like a ton of so-called overrated actors who made it and are in high demand, she has IT. They did a solid job with it. While I wouldn’t say that it was a perfect finale by any means (felt a bit anti climatic and like something was missing), all in all it was a good conclusion to the series. For movies, huh? Yep, that’s all 2020 has been unkind to. Well the myriad of delayed 2020 movies aside, hopefully things will improve for 2020 in a more significant matter if/once that golden shower-loving oaf that is the bunker boy don the con gets defeated this upcoming November. As is in bunker boy’s totalitarian nature though, the dictator-wannabe (former Epstein buddy) is trying his hardest to steal the election in true reich wing fashion by making a so-called democracy less of a... well... democracy. But you, along with many other tyranny and idiocracy-loving reich wingers that love watching the world get more delusional, dumber and burn down, pray to a nonexistent entity that the Putin-owned maniac manbaby wins? Well obviously legit fake news-spreading fascist chuds gonna fascism. Science and reason help humanity... hopefully basic human decency, sanity and intelligence will prevail over the unhinged, conspiratorial, and all around evil white supremacist-beloved bunker boy and his party. And the film looks awesome indeed, boomer.... reactionary boomer Ken. Now go back and cry about “radical” Kamala (oh you will) like many of the edgy and hardcore (really fragile and weak AF), deplorable, racist reich wing propagandists have been doing nonstop for the last two days. I see “neo”-fascist bunker boy and his chuds are unschockingly, ludicrously pushing the BIRTHERISM nonsense yet again with a non-white person who’s running for office — but the weasel that is mango mussolini and his maga cultists definitely ain’t racist, aye? (And if only these were the hoax-spreading chuds’ biggest issues.) Bish bye Very much so. An awesome and gorgeous talent, definitely gonna be following her career. ^And this, this is the definition of a lifeless troll. In a nutshell! It speaks for all the worthless trolls of the world, couldn’t have put it better for them. *slow clap* https://media.tenor.com/images/4d3734e8709b4e6cd3e750feb254212a/tenor.gif I agree - it SLAYS! ;) A much zanier film? I expected it to be that, sure. (It’s still quirky in its own right tho.) But ya know... I wasn’t the slightest bit disappointed with the, I suppose, more grounded film that we got. It held my interest from start to finish (never dragged on for me) and, like many viewers, I found it to be very well-crafted. I thought the uber talented Rian brought something a bit fresh to this genre and it was excellent. Craig’s “divisive” accent? Loved it. While probably slightly exaggerated, methinks that was the intention (he sounded nearly identical to the real person he based it on to my ears) and I think it added to his character’s eccentricity and charm. Craig’s overall performance was fantastic. As for the foreign actors (aka mainly British) doing these types of accents betta thing? Well, the “classically trained euro actors are just better” argument aside (don’t fully buy into btw, a great actor is a great actor regardless of their background), this is for sure how you feel about it. Meh Uh, it’s these boards.... they’re all about hating. In other words, this place is full of haterz. Sure, some may be genuinely concerned about how the film will turn out quality-wise (mainly due to the production issues), but most haters are just here to... hate. Positivity? Yeah, nobody here got time (the worldview) for that! But apart from the numerous dedicated Craig-Bond haters on here that were NEVER planning on giving this film a fair chance, many (it wouldn’t be unfair to say MOST) of those hating on this film in this board happen to be... surprise... reich wing propagandists. Seriously, all one needs to do is take a look at the things most of these whiners are complaining about. Just look for certain overused (kool reactionary) terms they use and the particular subjects they bring up to complain about - you’ll definitely notice a pattern with these obvious reich bros. Then again, they’re everywhere on this site. Poor them... the harder they cry about the pro-inclusion and anti-regressive agenda that they have an agenda against, the more the film industry seems to (thankfully) double down and spit on reactionary wishes. XD Anyway, psyched for this film! And you can bet many are as well. It’s good. ‘Matter of fact, it was better than I expected it to be (tho I never have high expectations for films released on Netflix, there’s been some really solid ones lately). Interesting film. Lit! Cut it out? How about... you do it. ;) Now I get where those who share your view are coming from (to an extent), but I myself find the endings to Point Break & Speed satisfying. Both are memorable & cool and without them I feel these films would have felt…. incomplete. Crime doesn’t pay? Funny, some feel Bodhi actually got an undeserved happy ending (survived or not, he went out his way). And that train sequence in Speed is particularly killer and its outcome is earned. In fact, I’d say it’s one of the best endings to an action film. Call ‘em cheesy all you want but they’re well-executed endings. At any rate, they both served the film’s story and I’m glad we have them.
