It was a Korean film about neighbors: one a chef and the other anorexic. I can't say more without spoiling but it's a good movie despite being gross!
Now that's a damn weird movie! The box says it's a comedy, but I'm not sure.
Not gourmet per se, but if you are talking about a movie that will make you crave some food, The Search For General Tso is one. My Facebook friends who always recommends the best Netflix movies to me messaged me and said you have to see this movie, but get yourself some Chinese food to to eat while you're watching or you'll be miserable. I like to eat food so I went out and got General Tso's and watched the movie and it was a really interesting doc, but he was not wrong about the craving. I have put off watching Jiro Dreams of Sushi for the same reason because I never seem to remember to watch it when I have sushi on hand.
On the other hand there is an anti-food movie of sorts about a chef called 301, 302 which is actually the only movie that ever made me nauseated.
I suppose Bob Barker was a racist when he used to remind Price is Right fans to have their pets spade or neutered? Or am I using the wrong homophobe?
"Most of the information I was seeking someone had already supplied, so there was no need to really comment." This was me. I was a big time lurker. But I read the boards every time I watched a movie for over 15 years, and so when they suddenly were announced as closing I had that don't know what you've got til its gone feeling I guess.
I haven't known any either but I bet that drunk skunk stunk!
Sammy Davis Jr. may have been the best singer of the bunch imo.
Hell yeah! Loved this movie since childhood too. I think it's the reason I like crappy dubbed Italian movies to this day.
Drunker than Cootie Brown.
My first post says "a month ago."
Was it the Italian one from 1987 or the Australian one from 1980?

Oh yeah! That one is the best mockumentary horror of all time.
Oh yeah, Don't Look Now is a good one. There's a Hong Kong remake of Don't Look Up from 09 that I haven't seen, but it might be easier to find than the 96 one.
I just logged in and the most recent trending topic was Arrested Development, so maybe someone's pushing back.
What is it?
One that bugged me a lot that I watched recently was the 1996 Japanese film Don't Look Up. I've watched so many horrors it's hard to scare me anymore, but that one was creepy. The Korean film A Tale of Two Sisters has some moments in it too.
It was either The Changeling or Creature From the Black Lagoon, both on TV when I was 6 or 7. I remember an independent TV station did a promotion where you had to get 3D glasses from a convenience store so everyone in town could watch a special TV event of Creature in 3D, and we got together with friends at my house, and this one girl got scared and ran all the way home in the middle of the movie. She was a drama queen who took off running and went home during the 4th of July fireworks though. I remember not being scared by Creature, but very scared by the EVPs in The Changeling. That one had me sleeping with the covers over my head because I didn't want to hear a ghost whining.
I like stout beer, but I've been drinking a lot of wine lately. I like to mix any dry red or white wine with coke or sprite respectively.
