Do you like Baby Yoda's real name?
Grogu. I admit it's cute the way he looks up at Mando each time he calls his name. But, I like Baby Yoda as a nickname. I also think Lucas could've came up with a better name.
Thoughts?

grogu seems like an old person's name, could it have been better don't know, could it have been worse - definitely.
It was the same with yoda from the OT which was a odd name for an odd creature, but it worked.
The problem is everyone got so use to calling him baby yoda, I didn't like grogu at first but its seems to work now, it just having to get use to it and next season it will seem so natural and baby yoda will seem so odd then.
Lucas' names had meaning. Some came from Eastern religions philosophy like Yoda came from yoga as well as Dooku and Qui-gon Jin.
Leia and Luke are biblical.
well grog(u) could be from sprog which means child/baby.
You can't just put baby before a name because there still a child and sounds cute. Baby Luke, Baby Leia, Baby Han or Baby Chewie.
grogu = sprog
Sounds plausible.
"Baby Luke, Baby Leia, Baby Han or Baby Chewie"
That sounds like a great idea for a new comic book like Little Archie.
I find it a little jarring as it reminds me of Rogu from American Dad
shareWould prefer Yodel or Baby Poopie Pants.
shareNo, Disney can't do Star Wars names.
shareNope. Don't like it.
shareIt sounds like a name that would be a name where Yoda is a name, and it fits the character. He looks like a Grogu ought to look.
shareIt's fine.
