Just read about it and apparently there are 2 possible explanations:
1. The plug in his neck acts as a wireless device so he is connected to the singularity (so he is mainly just a hacker with a wireless device)
2. After meeting the Architect he doesn't return to the real world but to another copy - and this is an interesting theory.
3. Matrix has layers and we only seen 2. And the second layer is not the real world. The Matrix 4: Matception, directed by C Nolan :D
"Escape the matrix? We'll just create six layers over the real world. Escape that!!"
Thing is the 1st ASM wasn't considered that great so as a result maybe 2 wasnt that disappointing (in fact it was probably considered better than 1 lol) ..whereas with WW everyone seemed to love WW1 but not WW84
really?... I thought ASM2 sucked a**... WW84 was waaay better.. I didn't think too much of the 'handsome man' fiasco until it started getting a lot of flak
I haven't seen the first one, but if she was "mesmerizing" in the first one, her acting abilities must have really tanked in the second, because she came across as bland and flat, and she had no charisma with Chris Pine (which really hurt the movie because he wasn't supposed to merely be her boyfriend, but her long lost soulmate) Also, Wonder Woman speaking with Gal Gadot's natural Israeli accent was just awkward and weird. It would be like if they cast David Tennant as Dick Tracy and he did the role using his natural Scottish accent for the entire movie.
