No one wants to see anymore invincible, all powerful white men.
This will flop hard. And I say that as someone that likes James Gunn.
My theater screen is not for your white male power fantasies. It's for art.

look out he-man
shareSpeak for yourself. If that's how the character was written, that's who the character is.
No one wants to see any more pandering, woke, revisionism...shoehorned into something that doesn't fit.
If you don't like the character, his gender or the color of his skin, don't go see the movie. No one will miss you.
Exactly.
I don't know why people care.
This guy's probably being humorous but who knows.
Shut up, bigot!

I disagree, I think Superman is the exception because he's antithetical to white male power fantasies - at least he's supposed to be, because his powers aren't his greatest strength, his ability to be a symbol of hope is.
shareas the world becomes more and more anti-white, I think it makes Superman more relevant than ever.
shareThere will always be a high demand for white men in movies, as the box office keeps proving.
But Superman is neither invincible nor all-powerful. He's weak to kryptonite and magic, and every adaptation has shown that his powers have limits, hence why most adaptations show him joining a team.
