The big reveal is that Agent Harker's mom is the accomplice. She delivers the dolls to those places, and the doll has the spirit of the Devil or something, which compels the father/husbands to kill the family and commit suicide.

My question is how could the mother avoid capture? Forensics wouldn't find traces of her DNA or fingerprints? Nobody in the neighborhood saw this woman in the area before or after the murders? We see scenes where the mother is covered in the blood, so she was right there. There should be traces of her that would be discoverable to CSU

The movie has a lot of plot holes. Even putting the spirit/satanic stuff aside, a lot of things just don't work out, like this one.

Without searching, I think the movie is set either in late 80s, or late 90s, so the DNA traces are not as advanced, so she can walk freely.
She delivers the doll a long time before the crimes, so people forgot about her. And the blood, maybe "she found the murder". She is covered in blood, but took no part in the murder except delivering the doll.

She did, but that was at the end, right? The last crime. She didn't do it before.

I think it would be a week or so. She could watch it from outside? Saw only once she was covered in blood.
My semi issue is that it seems the Camera murderers linked everyone because everyone went to the farm, but I might have missed that how they explained it.

She didn’t do it before because her daughter hadn’t come with a gun to “stop” - because there wasn’t anybody slower in motion to stop a crime.

I didn’t like this movie so I am not a good one to talk about it. I think the premise is ludicrous and it doesn’t work and as Redban, who loves it, basically says you have to reimagine things to make the move work.

Go see Strange Darling. Now that’s a movie. The lead female is worth it. There’s a demon. And it’s sooooo much more.

I don’t think she delivers the doll a long time before the crime. The murders happen as soon as she delivers the dolls, I believe (the only exception might be the Camera murders?). Part of the deal with the devil is that she had to watch each murder

No, it's the early 90s. Longlegs says Lee decided to be an FBI agent when she was 20, and in 1975 she was 9. Plus there's the picture of Clinton on Lee's boss office.
