I can speak for myself. I like this more because I saw it first, before the other one.
Same with IT. The new one will never come close to the one with Tim Curry, with all the budget & hype.

I think it would be a week or so. She could watch it from outside? Saw only once she was covered in blood.
My semi issue is that it seems the Camera murderers linked everyone because everyone went to the farm, but I might have missed that how they explained it.
Without searching, I think the movie is set either in late 80s, or late 90s, so the DNA traces are not as advanced, so she can walk freely.
She delivers the doll a long time before the crimes, so people forgot about her. And the blood, maybe "she found the murder". She is covered in blood, but took no part in the murder except delivering the doll.

For me the only lacking was the music, but you can't replace Jeff Healey and his band.
