you're right. i guess I thought PG-13 because they once aired the uncensored version on regular TV
I give it a 6.5/10. I like both actors, and I like the premise. The backstory of the gorge, focusing on government conspiracy and Blackhawk etc, was a little unsatisfying. Sigourney Weaver’s reason for being there at the end is a little eye-rolling (she had to kill him herself?). It was a lazy reason to have her at the site to die during the safeguard bombing
Instead of government conspiracy, the gorge should’ve been a spot where unknown primeval monsters dwell.
I don’t see an issue. The cloakers go down, and the world can see the gorge with satellites and such. So destroy the gorge right away to avoid the scandal / war crimes
Titanic got away with it because the nudity was done in a historic/educational movie . Nothing to do with 1997 . I think Schindler’s List had nudity too, yet that one got PG13 as well

Levi mentions some lost battalions. They sent come battalions down there to die, and then they used a cover story to say that those soldiers were war casualties
Government can keep things secret. That’s how government conspiracies acquire such a footing . They likely killed everyone involved in making the towers ( they used a cover story to sell to their families)
Either both die or both lie. I don’t think they could have had one survive without the other. Having both die would’ve been viable, but no issues with the happy ending
It was released in feb 14th for that reason
