So what's the worst pain you've ever experienced?
Mine was when I had testicular torsion. It pretty much felt like I was being continuously hit in the crotch for two hours.

shareI've broken my arm twice, broken my finger, broken my foot, and cut the top of my finger off. However, by far, the worse pain I've been in was caused by Lymes Disease. Oh my god...
You get a headache so bad you can't even open your eyes and terrible arthritis in random joints (got it in my ankle and knee) that was so unbearable I could hardly walk.
Seriously, lymes disease is living hell.
Everything burns....
a toss up between getting a needle in my heel for plantar fascia, passed out on that one
and a car accident where i went face first into the steering wheel knocking out 3 teeth and snapping another 8 off at the gumline
i was so loaded on various drugs i barely felt it at the time, but when i woke up 8 hours later, whoa!!!!

Boy oh boy I can identify with the needle in the heel thing. I ripped open the back of my ankle (got it caught in a steel door closing...freak accident) and the sharp edge of it slammed into my achilles tendon. At the ER they just stitched it up. The injection into the heel for the stitches just about put me through the roof, then when they stitched it, and I tried to walk on it, my tendon gave a massive 'POP' (it was hanging by a thread) and from then on it was just welcome to Pain City.
Then of course, child birth. Imagine the worst cramp you have ever had, squeezing the breath out of you from your chin to your knee caps for 24 hours. Multiply it by 1000, all while shi*tting a bowling ball (while someone else is punching you repeatedly in the tits) and you are half way to understanding the pain of childbirth.
As if that is not enough, I also have an 'atomical nerve variation' in my lower jaw, which means I don't numb up at the dentist - I only found this out half way through a root canal. That was not fun.
Last but not least, I tried to cut my own fringe looking in the mirror and managed to stab myself in the eye with the scissors. Absolute agony...as was the 'bandage' contact lens I had to wear for three days to 'protect' the 2mm cut on my cornea. Ha! All THAT did was dry up and stick to my eyeball, and getting THAT peeled off by the opthamologist was almost as bad as childbirth...if marginally faster.
For me, it was breaking my arm when I was 15, it didn't really hurt at all for like the first 5 minutes, but after that, when the shock and adrenaline wore off, oh my god did it hurt, I was screaming and crying for hours. Worst of all, my mom thought I hadn't broken it and that I was being a baby, so she was all telling me to shut up and stuff, and only took me to the doctor to humor me. After the x-ray showed I had broken it in three places, she spent the rest of the night apologizing.

Dental surgery without local anesthesia (the area was infected so it couldn't go numb). I was completely paralysed, couldn't move, couldn't scream. My heart was racing, I forgot how to breath. All I could think about was pain, pain, pain! It was the first time I understood what it really means when something HURTS.
shareI can feel that. Worst type of pain is dental pain
Hey, Soldier. Do you know who's in command here?
Having clubbed feet..I got the operations to correct them early on but had one operation in grade 4.
After the operation I was screaming in pain for the whole night...and they refused to give me painkiller shots after a while ...so yeah not really an awesome experience..
Twice.
1. I was about 8 maybe and I jumped somehow on my bike hitting my crotch area (or however it is called for women, sorry the English anatomical vocabulary escapes me).
2. Again, I was around 12 and fell on some metal tubes face first kicking out 2 of my front teeth (they have been since replaced). Oh my God!
Hope they wont be followed by a third act...
I had a broken knuckle from punching someone. The doctor said the best thing to do is to manipulate it back into place. It was extremely painful even after using pain killer. The doctor actually moved the bone back into place. OUCH!!!
