Which other 90s blockbuster films should get a sequel?

Apparently audiences were always wanting a Twister sequel.., who knew? (well the fact Twister made about 500m in 1996 should've been an indication but anyway)

What other disaster movies from yesteryear (90s/00s) could go big if they did a legacy sequel?

-Dante's Peak 2, another volcano with two new stars (Sydney Sweeny & Henry Cavill). Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton cameo

-Armageddon 2, another comet. Ben Affleck is the lead this time, with Liv Tyler, William Fichtner and Steve Busemi returning (obviously no Bruce Willis , but he would be homaged throughout)

-The Rock 2 (1996 same year as Twister) Nicolas Cage returns as Stanley Goodspeed facing off/teaming up with another ex 007 (Brosnan or Craig) to take on terrorists attacking some big iconic American landmark (this time in NYC - the new WTC)

-Day After Tomorrow 2 - Jake Gyllenhall and Dennis Quaid are back, esp now climate change is so hot right now

Last Action Hero 2 (or titled The Last Action Hero), which can make fun of the recent trend of legacy sequels to old film franchises. In-universe Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises the role of Jack Slater in a soft reboot in the Jack Slater franchise, 30 years following Jack Slater IV.

I could actually see this happening if John McTiernan hadn't canceled himself and if Last Action Hero were a hit at the box office.

I like that idea.

I feel like logically they'll try to greenlight Armageddon 2. If you look at the top 10 highest-grossing films of the 90's, Armageddon is the only one without a sequel.

Vertical Limit.

They could do a Volcano 2 as the film ended saying that the volcano was still listed as active. No idea where they'd take the story, but watching major cities get destroyed is always a pleasure in a disaster movie.
