Question to anyone who dislikes 'The Hangover'
Do/did you enjoy partying and getting drunk?
It would explain a lot to me if the answer would be 'no'.

I enjoy getting drunk, partying, and *beep* bitches. However this movie wasn't that funny, it was just too over rated, IMO. However that is my opinion.

You're such an indescribable retard. Why would you write "would be" instead of "were"? How can you be so *beep* stupid that you don't know your own language? This isn't even phonetic misspellings which are partially forgivable; it's simply a blatant misusage of the language. I can't take anybody seriously if they make a mistake this big.
Actually, i like drinking. Im not an alcoholic but i can certainly enjoy getting drunk with some friends. Those brings a lot of good times.
However, this movie sucks. I went into this movie being told it was the "funniest movie ever!!!!111" and was disappointed. I laughed maybe once or twice.. MAYBE and i laugh at anything, so that isnt saying much
This movie was dull, and boring.
Laughing uncontrollably, and seeing people slap their knees at the fact that the guy said rutard instead of retard, makes me REALLY sad for our comedy world.
Really, the "jokes" in this movie were boring, or just unfunny. A tiger being in the bathroom isn't really funny.
People should look into 90s humor. When Happy Gilmore ruled the comedy section.
People should realize that one movie doesn't represent a whole decade.
I'm the grim reaper, Lardass, and you're my next customer.
How do you know it's his own language?

I don't drink, but I'm not a tool who doesn't like going with the mass to such an extent as to hate this movie. Great movie. Admit it folks, you just wanna be unique and feel like your above the mass. Or you have *beep* sense of humor, as is shown by the first reply talking about the *beep* wedding singer.

I enjoyed the movie a lot. I get drunk often. I don't like parties that much.
There is a clear correlation between people enjoying partying/getting drunk and people liking this movie. In general jokes are funnier if you can relate. If you look at the votes by demographics you see this:
Aged under 18 __ 8.5
Aged 18-29 _____ 8.1
Aged 30-44 _____ 7.6
Aged 45 ________ 7.0
The older you get, the less you party, the less you like this movie.
For a comedy this movie scores well, the people not liking it are a minority.
Excelent question. And I am surprised you could be that smart being one of those who get drunk for fun.
My answer obviously would be no, because I think there are other intelectual ways of having fun, getting drunk for me is useless, I would not be able to control myself and what others may do to me, and also it would do harm to my brain, since alcohol is not healthy at all. I would not even get drunk to forget the problems in my life, because I do care about my body, I don't want to harm it with that drink.
Yeah I love water♥.
I can't find the funny thing in pretending to have sex with a lion (or tiger? I forgot) I don't see how that is funny..and the baby masturbating himself? are you serious? I've watched Zohan but this is worse..
And I don't know about partying because I usually look for more quiet places, nature, peace, music, and then I like being with a few people I know.. I wouldn't like to kiss a stranger for exemple, let alone have sex with one.
So yeah I guess we have the exact reason why I wouldn't like to see this movie. What for me would be sttupid for you would be funny, and what for you would be boring for me would be intelectual, peacefully, beautiful, worthy.
Thanks for the question. I feel proud of being like this !

And I love it .
I think this has to be the most snobbish response to any thread I've read on IMDB ever.
I'm writing this signature in bold so people know it's a signature
Yes, but I appreciate real stories as opposed to drunken nights out turned into stories.
shareI was raised to party in a more sophisticated manor so that may be the reason why I didn't like it. As for drinking I am underage so I don't do that. I know that many of you may find me boring but I don't find myself boring. We all have different opinions of fun. So as you go and watch your Hangover I'm going to go watch my There Will be Blood.
shareThat's ridiculous...
You may as well say that only serial killers can enjoy horror films.
I didn't like The Hangover for simple reasons... The characters: not at all relatable, unlike-able, often disturbing, no chemistry, plain awkward most of the time.
Where's the unused, original, genuinely funny humour? I couldn't spot it, it was all cringe-worthy and used in 90% of Hollywood 'comedy', I actually felt embarrassed for the film makers and writers because it's clear they really can't grasp the concept of articulate cinema.
The plot idea was fine, but the layers between plot and conclusion were boring, and as I said, awkward.
Having a creepy man who obviously has been convicted of some public indiscretion, possibly around children, pretend to have an infant perform sexual acts on himself isn't funny, it's awkward.
Maybe this is just a guys film with the women objectifying and perverted baby humour and what-not, but I think even a guys film, a good guys film at least can be enjoyed by both sexes.
Or maybe it's a movie for an audience with a limited collection of brain cells that are swirling around in a constantly intoxicated head. I don't know, but this film is definitely in my bottom five… Mainly because of the rating it got.
