Which is worse? Episode I or II?

Neither Episode VII is the worst.

I is worse. Outside of pod racing, the Darth Maul fight, and a good performance from Neeson there is nothing of redeeming value. Rewatched it once several years ago thinking it would be good for unintentional laughs but it was really just boring. I think Lucas watched the NAFTA debates on C-Span in the early 90's and for some reason thought they were the most compelling thing he'd ever seen and said to himself "Yeah, when I make more Star Wars movies I need to get trade negotiations into them somehow. They're even more exciting than lightsaber fights!"

Really the only big drawbacks in II are the romantic dialog and Hayden Christensen. The action is great, I like the Obi-wan playing detective bits, Christopher Lee is a really good villain, and its got Natalie Portman's abs too.

It's so romantic though.

The Last Jedi....but just between these 2, Episode II is by far the worst.

I don’t think either film are that atrocious, really, but I chose II over I solely because II has a more interesting story that feels both unique and actually important to the SW overall plot. Episode I’s plot is entirely boring, pointless, and useless.

I don't like the prequels but enjoyed parts of each.

TPM has both the worst and best parts of the blighted prequels. you know the worst parts. They are legend. The best, being Maul fight, Quai-Gon Jedi stuff, and general Starwars'y feel, are together better than anything else in the prequels.

So I rank them with TPM split thusly:

I would never watch AotC nor RotS again. I would watch parts of TPM.
