there's a Korean movie called Sex is Zero. starts off like American Pie then the chick has to get an abortion and it gets alllll serious

is everyone forgetting about the great "Full Metal Jacket"? THats basically two separate movies.
Last DVD bought: Smokin' Aces, and The Good Shepherd.

The movie starts with Matt Dillon being sued because he supposedly harassed one of his students but then the movies evolves to a thriller where everyone is being deceived and becomes a psychological film.

Twists and 180s are completely different things leandro. Wild Things just had a few twists but never 180s.

I think a lot of people missed the whole point of this thread...
It's not about a twist in the plot, it's about a complete change of genre in the middle of the film.
I know of a LOT of people that went and saw FDTD NOT knowing a thing about the movie and thought the WHOLE film was going to be a crime drama. When Salma vamps out and turns the crime-drama into horror-survival, THAT is a 180 they never saw coming!
