The attack on sexualizing women in media is a Cultural Marxist movement. It's gone way across the board to movies, video games and even comic books!
If you look at what's actually happening, the Right came up with #ComicsGate to start funding their own independent comic books because all the mainstream comic book companies have gone full degenerate with their Liberal Progressive agendas.
#ComicsGate brought back the sexy, with good looking females, plenty of raunch, and masculine men (just check out some of the stuff from Ed Benes and few other indie comic artists being funded via IndieGoGo and Kickstarter).
Meanwhile, the Left are pushing for disgusting freaks with characters like Safe Space, and that hideous fat lesbian that's supposed to be Starfire's child.
You guys are right that all the sexy-time is definitely being censored and removed, but usually only if it involves hot heterosexual couples. You'll find plenty of gay and lesbian romances thrown around on television and in movies (like Person of Interest's only major sex scene was a lesbian sex scene to push the Left's agenda for the Rainbow Reich).
But otherwise it's all been tamed down. Video games is the real travesty here, there hasn't been any hot sexualized females in Western-made games since 2015's The Witcher 3. All newer games feature gross looking hambeasts, lesbians, and those man-jawed abominations with the body of a deflated linebacker.
