WORST FILM EVER - Anyone agree

The film is appalling (as are all of Prince's movies), but it's far from the worst. It is only salvaged by the music and by the performance of Morris Day and the Time. I watch it just to see them, but otherwise it's a painful experience. And now it's a nostalgia piece for its era. Prince has enormous and undeniable musical talent, but the guy can't act. He should stick with what he knows.

Well, of course Purple Rain is not the worst movie ever. I don't saw this movie until yesterday, this is one of that movies I never had the oportunity to saw, I knew the music, hear it, even Apollonia Kotero come to my country in the 80's and promote her "Sex Shooter". Well, I don't like the movie, don't have a real script, I don't understand it, Apollonia met the kid, they interchange two words and she get crazy, get her clothes off and swim for a second in a lake (almost a swamp), make love (great hot scene!), they get angry, went with another producer to get in a music group, his parents are crazy, and with a song he become the best singer in the world... what a *beep* is this...a movie or a documentary of Prince...bad script (even has a remake!#? , it's called: Glitter). The music is Ok, I don't like Prince but he is a talented singer and a composer, and many, many , many people like him and his music and lyrics, so , they like the movie. If Bon Jovi made a Slippery When Wet movie (maybe the name will be "I'll be there for you"), I'll said this is the best movie ever made, beacuse Slippery is my favorite album. For me the script and the actors are not better than Glitter, the music is far better.

The movie was pretty bad, the music was awesome!

Ya, one of the worst movies ever.
Prince kinda made it OK, he looks so weird that is funny.

I will say this. It's certainly not Shakespeare or even "Citizen Kane", but I do like the songs as well as the style and the cinematography.

Yup, this one was soooo bad you could smell it!
