Hard to tell that his actions were racist.
It was definitely reckless and stupid, but I'm not 100% convinced that his actions were due to racism. Other than George Floyd being black, were there others signs?
shareIt was definitely reckless and stupid, but I'm not 100% convinced that his actions were due to racism. Other than George Floyd being black, were there others signs?
shareNo, he was just a scapegoat. Had George been white or hispanic you wouldn't have heard a peep from the media they just lucked out that Derek kneeled on a down and out counterfeit felon who was addicted to fentanyl and liked to assault pregnant women.
shareNot really a scapegoat because he really did do it. But you're right, we probably wouldn't have heard about it if Floyd as white.
shareYou're right. We didn't.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Tony_Timpa
Notice how race wasn't brought up there.
shareOf course we wouldn't have heard about it if he was white . . .
Because the police and minorities have a checkered history, that's the ENTIRE issue.
WOW
you'll never get through to these people . They cant grasp (or refuse to) why the phrase "Black lives matter" is not "All lives matter"
Which is as simple as you can distill the concept down to.
It just seems absolutely crazy for people to be THIS clueless about the issue at this point. I try to give people a sort of 'visual aid' to help but in this case . . . I mean . . .
sharePassive racism is just as much of a threat as the overt kind.
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
Yeah, the thing about that quote is that everyone thinks it applies to 'them', MAGAs see that quote and feel like they need to do something. It's dangerous.
shareYou'll never get through to people who don't have the IQ to comprehend what "all" means. "All" includes blacks (so obvious, yet it has to be explained to some people).
shareYes but the phrase is designed (with or without the "also" ) to highlight the fact that black lives are currently mattering less , despite everyone being equal and all lives mattering.
If someone other then the police had made video of the homicide, then it probably would have made national news. As it was, it took three years for the police to release their video.
The difference with Chauvin is that someone else not associated with the police department made their own recording of Chauvin's snuff video and released it to the public. It is hard to cover up your involvement in a murder when someone else releases a video of you slowly killing someone over the course of nine minutes; two of those minutes after which a pulse could not be found.

The killing of Daniel Shaver got significant coverage. Police show up after reports of a rifle brandished at a hotel window. One officer orders Shaver to crawl towards them, another officer shot Shaver for doing so.
Brailsford was fired, but then re-hired after being acquitted. This was the guy who had "You're Fucked" engraved on his rifle.
Turns out killer cops like Brailsford are the ones the Mesa PD wants on their force as he was allowed to be re-hired then retire on a pension.

I recall this story.
shareIf I, a white guys, slaps another white guy I would be called "asshole" and maybe charged with assault or something.
If I, a white guys, slaps a black guy I would be called "racist asshole", charged with a hate crime and maybe charged with assault or something.
If a black guy with a history of anti-white rhetoric (online and in real life) kills few white people and hurts tens of white people with an SUV they will say that the SUV did it ...
It is pretty much a double standard.
Although legally they were charged with a hare crime, there were many people who didn't think this was a hate crime: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1f8v1c45K2Y
shareHow were those conjugal visits with Derek and you?
share"If a black guy with a history of anti-white rhetoric (online and in real life) kills few white people and hurts tens of white people with an SUV they will say that the SUV did it ..."
It's hilarious how far you people have to stretch to try and make a point.
What's the stretch??
The guy anti-white rhetoric is well documented.
https://nypost.com/2021/11/24/darrell-brooks-called-for-violence-against-white-people/
He killed 5 or more people and put in hospital almost 50 people.
These are the facts, there is NO stretch here.
And now let's see the media:
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/multiple-people-killed-by-suv-in-waukesha-christmas-parade
"Multiple people killed by SUV in Waukesha Christmas parade" lol
https://www.npr.org/2021/11/21/1057830499/an-suv-sped-through-a-parade-in-downtown-waukesha-wis-injuring-participants
an suv sped through a parade in downtown waukesha wis injuring participants
https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2021/11/22/waukesha-parade-wisconsin-suv-crowd-suspect/
They even twitted: "Here's what we know so far on the sequence of events that led to the Waukesha tragedy caused by a SUV."
Even Reuters:
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/gunshots-fired-holiday-parade-wisconsin-local-cbs-affiliate-2021-11-21/
"Five dead, 40 injured after SUV hits Wisconsin Christmas parade"
So WHERE exactly is the stretch mind you? And show me in any of those articles ANYTHING about his hate for white people.
It's hilarious how far YOU PEOPLE stretch to deny the factual reality!!!!!
https://www.newsweek.com/stop-avoiding-facts-about-waukesha-opinion-1655395
🤣 A stretch.....? This actually happened. 😂
share"If a black guy with a history of anti-white rhetoric (online and in real life) kills few white people and hurts tens of white people with an SUV they will say that the SUV did it ..."
when did that happen, what was his name?
Exactly, you don't know when it happened, you don't know his name.
Because media didn't make a fuss about it ... his name is Darrell Brooks Jr. and not "an SUV".
But you know everything about Floyd's alleged killer and you even have a thread dedicated to him. Ironically, eh?
Dude . . .who is blaming his actions on an SUV? He's known as the Waukesha parade killer.
shareDid you actually read his posts?
shareDude, as the other said: did you fucking read my posts????
shareI typed Darrell Brooks Jr. into Google, so I read more than your post, I looked for articles that backed up what you said about people blaming the SUV and I didn't find that.
shareI provider articles and tweets in my posts. Can you read???
Gezas, you guys are so willingly to stay blind and deny everything. Even when you have the evidence in your face you are like “but I couldn’t (didn’t want to) find any”.
Describing how people were killed isn't excusing the person who drove the SUV! How is a person going to make that leap in logic?
shareOh, yeah??
Have you ever seen a headline like: "Floyd was killed by a knee"?
No, that's not describing when you leave out who is the perp. Describing would had been "People killed by black suspect in an SUV" and NOT "People killed by an SUV". Are you that dumb to not see the difference?
The mental gymnastics that you do to excuse this is hilarious.
Are you kidding me? Do you really think that you would ever see a headline "People Killed by White Suspect in a SUV"?!
God Damn that's dumb
"At least 6 people were killed when a driver slammed into Carnival revelers" - this is how they usually portray this kind of things.
Again, you are too dumb and too blinded to see the reality.
let's see another headline "Innocent driver hit and killed by chase suspect in west Houston, HPD says"
"Witnesses say the suspect trying to get away from police ran a red light, hitting and killing an innocent driver going through an intersection in west Houston."
Saying "an SUV killed x people" you just try to minimize the act and to depersonalize the blame.
It's like saying "a gun killed x people in the last mass shooting". And you don't see a problem with that? Really?
Assom, there may be hope for you--I understand that after President Biden cures COVID he will start working on curing mental retardation. You should get on the list now for treatment.

Your FIRST link . . .The New York Goddamn POST had this as a headline "Darrell Brooks shared pro-Hitler memes, called for violence against white people"
Yes, that's because NOT all media is bought. There are few that don't fall under the spell.
And that is the new york post who DOESN'T have a left leaning agenda.
https://www.allsides.com/news-source/new-york-post
"AllSides Media Bias Rating: Lean Right".
Look at all others. The leftist media that I posted.
"They" doesn't mean ALL media but the woke agenda one.
Are you that fucking dumb that you don't understand basic things and context and someone has to explain to you EVERYTHING?? No wonder that guy ignored you.
Dude . . .Where do I even START?!
Your whole gripe was that headlines don't say anything about black people in a derogatory way . . .and then you put a link to that story.
After which you cherry picked stories that you tried to play off as not mentioning his race when it would have been absolutely weird to do so.
If you just want to be a racist that's fine, you want to bash black people and minorities? Whatever, but don't make shit up and continually contradict yourself.
Dude, again, are you that dumb to understand the concept of context? Of course I’m talking about the headlines of certain media. You have to be plain stupid to understand “all media”. Which obviously you are.
It wasn’t even about mentioning the race, it’s was about not eve mentioning a person, a suspect. No. It was an SUV that did it.
But again you are too stupid to understand.
There is no contradiction in what I said, only an idiot would not under that.
Now say something about grammar ..
"It wasn’t even about mentioning the race, it’s was about not eve mentioning a person, a suspect. No. It was an SUV that did it."
No, that's not describing when you leave out who is the perp. Describing would had been "People killed by black suspect in an SUV" and NOT "People killed by an SUV". Are you that dumb to not see the difference?
Nope, I responded to your comment that they are "describing" the event.
And I pointed out that they left out everything about the perp or even that there is a perp - so that's not a description. An SUV did it. How idiotic.
But I think i will ignore you as well.
You're full of bullshit and you lack any form of logic.
Of course you'll ignore me, to save face. I don't care at this point, you are just lying to YOURSELF
shareJackpot.
You are wasting your time and energy though.
These people are just too far gone. You could throw the cold hard truth right in their faces and they'd still ask "so what's the matter, I don't see nothing!"
It's called core principles. Must not be challenged.
"What must not be, cannot be!"

Your grammar is terrible.
shareIt's just fine, actually, and English is not even my native language.
I speak German, English and Dutch fluently, French well enough and my Spanish is at least acceptable.
How many languages do you speak? Exactly, so shut the fuck up.
What a piss poor attempt, really.
Edit: Oh, and welcome to my ignore list.
Just another hopeless candidate no one should waste their time with.
they will say that the SUV did it ...
His actions were due to how George Floyd was acting.
share
Yes, but once Floyd was cuffed face down on the ground, the situation requiring the knee in the neck no longer existed, and his next action should have been to stand Floyd up. He didn't though, he continued to kneel on Floyd for almost 10 minutes after he was cuffed and gasping for breath - the last two of those minutes after Floyd no longer had a pulse. That's why Mr. Chauvin will spend the next 20 years of his life behind bars as he should.
This logical and true explanation is not going to change their minds about Floyd's actions. It hasn't already and it never will.
shareIt's not true at all. Floyd wouldnt stay in the police car for claiming to be claustrophobic (how did he last all those years in his prison cell?) and voluntarily went to the ground and was just held there until the ambulance arrived but he pissed himself crying for his mommy and talking nonstop but somehow did it all while being choked by a knee on his upper back and died from his OD to hide evidence of being a drug dealer who didnt care about lockdown while he spread COVID.
shareI DO NOT AGREE WITH FLOYD OR CHAUVIN'S CHOICES THAT DAY...BUT BASED ON YOUR WORDS...IT IS CLEAR YOU HAVE NEVER RESTRAINED ANOTHER HUMAN BEING AND HAVE NO CLUE WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
share...they needed to make sure he stayed on the ground.
Floyd wanted to lay on the ground (41:09).
https://www.bitchute.com/video/5zWchRApPZMv/
Floyd was talking continuously (42:15-).
https://www.bitchute.com/video/5zWchRApPZMv/
Floyd was still kicking after he was cuffed, which is why they couldn't stand him up. Of course, without the use of his hands, it's hard to see a justification for the knee on the neck. That said, Floyd died from positional asphyxiation, from not being able to use his thoracic muscles properly. The knee to the neck posed no threat to his ability to breathe, as his wind pipe was in no way compromised (or he wouldn't be able to use his voice). The knee to the upper portion of his back, however, would have greatly contributed to his difficulty in breathing.
I remain convinced, as I was from the beginning, that Chauvin's ego is what caused him to keep his pressure up. After all, the crowd around them kept saying Floyd was unable to breathe, that they should let him up. Chauvin probably didn't want to be seen as relenting to pressure from bystanders - after all, he was the professional, he was supposed to know what he was doing, and no civilian was going to tell him how to do his job.

Yeah, I think he had a massive cognitive disconnect somehow. No matter what his motivation, maintaining submission after the medic tells him there's no pulse makes no sense.
shareDoesn't matter. The establishment needed to add to covid's effects on the economy in order to make sure the country was in total chaos for the 2020 elections. Calling the cop racist helped fuel the "peaceful protests" that helped destroy the U.S. as we once knew it.
shareI DON'T THINK RECKLESS AND STUPID ARE APT MYSELF...AS THE KNEE TO NECK RESTRAINT WAS COMMON POLICE PROCEDURE AND IN THE TRAINING MANUAL AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT...ADD IN FLOYD'S ACTIONS AND RESISTANCE...PERHAPS THE OFFICER COULD HAVE BETTER MONITERED FLOYD AND LESSONED HIS RESTRAINT...I BET HIS ANSWER WOULD BE THAT FLOYD MIGHT HAVE BEEN FAKING BECAUSE A LOT OF GUYS DO...FUCKED UP SITUATION FROM EVERY ANGLE.
sharePERHAPS THE OFFICER COULD HAVE BETTER MONITERED FLOYD AND LESSONED HIS RESTRAINT...
I DON'T LIKE THE WAY YOU EXPRESS YOUR POLITICS...MAYBE JUST STOP.🙂

I very much doubt Chauvin was racist. At least, there was nothing in any videos of the incident that would seem to indicate he was.
But, Chauvin was an asshole deluxe who had no compassion as a man he had in a submissive position gasped out his last breath while he continue to kneel on his neck.
Personally, I think Chauvin was an equal opportunity asshole who would have abused anyone in that situation regardless of their color.
I agree. He seems like a cop who would abuse his power.
