You'll find it heavily implied early on in Genesis:
"They were naked, but they were not ashamed."
Gen. 2:25
This was before the fall, so the reason they felt no shame was because, quite simply, they didn't know any better. Had they known right from wrong, however, they would have known - according to the text - that nakedness was to be covered up. Indeed, as soon as they eat from the Tree of Knowledge, they cover themselves up - because they realize they are naked.
Later on in the Bible, Leviticus 18 establishes that to see someone naked is a sexual act. The traditional English wording is to "uncover the nakedness" - in newer versions this has been altered to the Clintonesque "have sexual relations with". But consider that the same wording is used in Genesis when Ham accidentally sees his father, Noah, naked: Noah curses him for having seen him naked. He praised his other sons, Shem and Japheth, who had walked into the tent backwards with a blanket to cover his sleeping naked body, and had thus not seen him naked.
In short, modern translations of the Bible interpret "uncover the nakedness" as implying more than mere nudity - but reading the text in the context of the culture in which it is written, there is nothing more than nudity implied.
Do you think not believing in the hell of a different religion means you won't experience it?
Theists are so weird.
I'm not talking about Silver turning good, but rather that he gets his "bad" good ending. Riding evilly off into the sunset, somehow. He had already sort of gotten there when he framed Kreese, thus ridding himself of his one weakness. Now I want him out of jail.
It makes perfect sense for Tory to do what she did based on what Daniel did - but it doesn't make sense for Daniel to have stopped the fight in the first place.

I kind of doubt that is true.

You think they voted for Obama, do you? Or Biden/Harris? For the past couple of generations, the GOP is the party of conservatives - and the KKK are conservative.

BOTH parties have been supportive of equal rights for blacks since hte mid 60s. And not just words, massive goverment programs and spending.
So, NEITHER party offers anything to an actual w.s. on that front.

Oh, really? What are the respective party lines on BLM?

Now, on other issues, such as say... War vs Peace, or social spending, I would expec that w.s. would be all over the place and split and would be forced to either vote on other issues, or not at all.

Those issues are not what caused the switch. It was LBJ and the Civil Rights movement, that was a deal breaker for conservatives. On all other issues, they are - then as now - perfectly willing to compromise the values they claim to have.

Oh, wait. Did you want a real answer or was your post more of a zinger attempt?

I confess I didn't expect one, but if you have one I'm willing to listen.
Then why didn't Daniel say that? He told Tory, "you shouldn't fight", full stop - he didn't say "let's postpone this so you can fight when you're at the top of your game".
If there was no party switch, how come the KKK was founded by Democrats, but every single KKK member has been voting Republican since LBJ?
I actually don't think Kreese is trying to trick Tory. I think he cares for her, the same way he used to care for Johnny. We saw that in the All Valley finale, when Kreese urged her to fight how she felt best - instead of telling her to fight dirty, like he otherwise would. And again, in prison, when he tells her to get out and look after herself, rather than staying with Silver in a vain hope of finding a way to take him down. Tory takes offense at this for some reason, but Kreese was putting her interests above his own.
Sure, but why deny her the chance to be captain?
She had already made up her mind to be part of the tournament before her mother died. She was fighting more aggressively, yes, but that was that one fight. Besides, what gives Daniel the right to make the decision for her? The wrong decision, at that. Way to step on someone when they're down, Daniel.
