Canned as Superman because...He was beefing with women writers in Hollywood! They canceled him because he tried to go against the legion of narcissistic female writers on The Witcher! It's actually pretty obvious. I mean first they said he was going to be Superman. Then Henry was in the news clashing with females, and BAM! No more Superman. A child could see what really happened here. He was literally cancelled! I bet he gets blackballed from anything he tries going forward, and ends up out of the industry in less than 3 years.
Yeah ok ass-wiper! I work with many females at my place of business, and I have to say that most of them are scatter-brained, create more busy work for others, power hungry, gossipy, and are always bringing their emotions to work. It's like working with 12 year old boys! Then, with diversity, companies giving them "manager" positions really adds insult to injury. First off they cannot even do the position they are managing, and second they are way too bossy and demanding. Since they cannot do the job, they don't even realize what is involved for what they are asking on such tight timelines. It's ridiculous.
Sorry to break it to you but "ass-wiper" as an insult just doesn't work. You don't wipe your ass?! It's no wonder no woman wants to fuck you. Walking around with a shitty ass and all!π
Enjoy the holidays alone in your basement with your assorted selection of blowup dolls, melons with holes cored out, and cum-stained pillows, incel.
No, others only wipe their asses after taking a shit. But, you're a "constant" ass-wiper because you're FULL OF SHIT. Big difference there bucko. Nice try though, now go back to your transgender boyfriend, and suck some shit out of their asshole.
Yeah, right----I'm sure you made all that bull*** up. As if no men are seriously fckd up either. There are men who only get positions because they know other men who hook them up with said positions, not because they were actually qualified for it. Men have been doing that forever, but you want to whine about women and act as if the men are so perfect and never do anything wrong.
yes, there are men that are scatter-brained, but mostly other men hold them accountable. when a scatter-brained woman gets a power role, no man wants to step to her (b/c of HR, lawsuits, etc) so these airheads are allowed to just destroy everything.
It's worse than that. It turns out that James Gunn wanted to reboot the franchise, but with Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, and Jason Malmoa, but the asshole in charge of the studio, David Zaslav canned all of it, demanding that the DC franchise be restarted with all new actors. Zaslav wants to create a DC version of the MCU.
Its because Black Adam Bombed At The Box Office nobody saw it If DC Fans are, angry about Henry Cavill being fired then they should've went to the movies and Saw Black Adam it's no wonder DC Movies Bomb & don't make money nobody goes sees them in Theaters I hope that Changes with Gunn in Charge
, its just sad what happened to him with the superman role, and unless he gets the Bond role (say if Chris Nolan directs the next one and he overrules the Broccoli woman's choice of ATJ or whoever to bring in a genuine Bond type guy in their 40s like Cavil, Hardy or Fassbender) then don't see him having much of a movie career beyond those Netflix action films and the stdvd action stuff the Expendables guys do until Gunn gets around to Crisis on Infinite Earths in about 5y and he appears in that for like 20 minutes with Gadot, Affleck etc
For me Cavill isn't A-list material. They've tried, but he just hasn't got it. I think you're spot on when you say you don't see him having much of a movie career beyond Netflix and DTV action. I think his days of being the top name in any cinematic release are virtually over.
I have to admit, I've never understood the hype over Cavill either----yeah, he played Superman once, but the truth is, he's rarely been in any major box-office hits, except for Man of Steel--which is mainly what he's known for. He's just always struck me as bland and boring as heck onscreen---to be honest, I barely remember him in Batman vs. Superman, even though he played Superman! I will say this----I did see him star in a British period war film last year called The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, and to my surprise, not only was he actually pretty good in the lead, he even showed some real charisma and presence for once. As someone who's never ever thought he was all that, that's saying a hell of a lot.
NO he wasn't. lol. They scrapped whole DC universe because it wasn't bringing money. They spent too much on it and were probably losing money. So they fired all those actors and let go that whole Universe. And Henry went with everyone.
They wanted Marvel money. But got like 1/3 of it. DC fans hype it. But them movie need ordinary people to come in massed to get budget back. And people weren't going.
It's so sad that the majority of this website has clearly never felt the loving touch of a woman. Funny that they're all Trump supporters too. Huh, isn't that odd. I'd be an angry conspiracy theorist too.
OP is trying to paint Cavill as some sort of anti-woke martyr, canceled for speaking his mind against evil no-name liberal women who somehow have more power than one of the most bankable action stars in the world. I have a good idea who the OP and anyone who agrees with him could be.
It was too little too late, Black Adam bombed, general audiences had moved on from DCEU Superman, so they went with James Gunn's Superman which was suppose to be an elseworld movie like The Batman.
Black Adam was actually bigger overseas than it was in the U.S., so it did make its budget back---just not in the U.S. I saw it, and while I felt that it had a generic look, I found the character of Black Adam to be interesting as an anti-hero---the twist near the end which showed why he became a bad guy was actually pretty interesting too. I think the only reason it was less bigger in the U.S. was because people were getting tired of superhero films, and spinoffs from superhero films. It was nice to see the Rock play not only a superhero, but one who was basically an anti-hero---I though he was perfect for the role, and that it was something totally different for him----since he rarely plays the bad guy. Bottom line, Black Adam wasn't as bad as everyone claimed it was----I've seen far worse films than that.
One thing I did like about Black Adam that no one ever mentioned or commented on---the fact that most of the main characters, including the lead, were mainly people of color. Other than Eternals (which I also liked) and the Black Panther films, that's not something you see that often in that genre.
They spent too much money on the film, it needed 700 million to break even and nearly a billion to be considered a success and was built on the Snyderverse, a very negative disliked foundation.
Black Adam is a not an A list DC character, Black Adam is known for being tied to Shazam and Shazam isn't an A list DC character, if you look at the box office of the first Shazam movie and think probably a film about his villain that isn't tied to Shazam you shouldn't expect it to make 700 million dollars.
