Why do women get the unique word LESBIAN?
And men have the generic equivalent, Gay-Men?
shareIt comes from the ancient Greeks - Sappho of Lesbos. Lesbos is an island. She wrote erotic poetry about women.
"Gay" is a rather tepid word anyway and I don't like that we guys were saddled with it. Dude, I don't walk around with a goddamn ghey ass smile on my face. I'm a very serious man who fucks guys in the arse.
I like the word gay when it means happy. I just think it was kind of rude to change the meaning of it.
shareI think gay had broader meaning than just happy. About 40 years ago when I was in college I needed to take a social studies course. If I remember correctly that book distinguished the “plain Amish” vs the “gay Amish”. With the plain Amish being the members who were strict on not using modern technology while the gay Amish were ones who were fine with using modern technology.
share“gay Amish”
Why am I reading this for the first time?
Many other words have 2nd meanings that fell by the roadside.
shareWHAT WORD WOULD YOU LIKE?...I WILL START USING IT.....I VOTE FOR ASSBIAN.
shareQueer. It covers gay men, lesbians and bisexuals. And it doesn't try to label us by which sex acts we prefer.
It's sorta been hijacked by the trannies.
But think Queer Nation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queer_Nation
Dumb fucking cuck. You don't get to vote when you're 'That wasn't real communism' takes place!
Dig the fucking trench!
Anticunt? Not a traitor, non scumbag?
Kowalski reports me for all of the above
They have their own island while gay dudes only have the Blue Oyster bar. Long ago, there lived a famous gay woman on an island called Lesbos.

Believe it or not, there were a few nicknames people in the past sometimes used for gay people in the western world, but they weren't commonly-known words in everyday talk for most people, particularly outside of cities. An interesting one for the men was "mandrake." "Nancy Boy" was another one. "Sapphist" was sometimes whispered about the women. "Sodomite" was a well-known term for centuries, due to the story of "Sodom and Gomorrah" in the Bible. "Homosexual" was known as well, but again, not spoken of very much.
The word "queer" in the old days used to mean "strange or unusual." "Gay" used to mean "happy." "Faggot" used to refer to a bundle of sticks. It wasn't until the late 20th century these words were changed and used differently by the gay community.
It's because of the island of Lesbos. God drowned Atlantic, because of the Trans association. This proves that God is a male.
