What are your Biggest movie theater disappointments?

1. Batman and Robin -Corny and an awful Bane
2. Attack of the Clones- CGI and Bad Acting
3. The Chronicles of Riddick- boring
4. The Matrix: Reloaded- lame story
5. 28 days- it tried to hard at the drama.

Bonus: Endgame: I only went because my soldiers wanted to see it. I was done with marvel during phase 1.

reply

The X-Files movie.

reply

...especially the second one.

reply

Heyyyyyy, Hola! 🇪🇸
Sorry, to jump in.

Pleased to see you here again.
You were gone for a while.
Did you watch the 4th season of Babylon Berlin?

And of course friendly greetings from Señor Mo! 🐈‍⬛

reply

Buenas noches, wie geht es dir?
Ja, ich war eine Weile weg aber ansonsten ist alles in Ordnung.

No, not yet. I have bought season 3 on DVD but I think that I am going to watch the series again from the beginning . And you?
Viele liebe Grüße an señor Mo!!

reply

Guten Abend! ☼
Auch hier alles im Griff auf dem sinkenden Schiff. ⛵

Hmm, that's a good idea (rewatch).
Well, I'm still not through with The 100 (2014-2020).
But they kill off my favourites, one after the other ☻...first Lincoln, now Roan.

Hasta la vista, dice el señor Mo. 🤠
(Kater sind so gnadenlos ☺)

reply

reply

Didn't even go to see that one, especially after the major disappointment of the first.

reply

You did not miss much!!

reply

Tenet because I couldn’t understand any of the dialogue.

reply

My son saw Tenet for the first time a few days ago. He generally likes Nolan but he loathed that film. Difficult/impossible to hear dialogue was one of his main gripes.

reply

I wouldn’t try watching it again without closed captioning.

reply

I TRYED...TWICE...YOU EITHER ENJOY THE VISUAL NOISE OR YOU DON'T...I DID NOT.

reply

“Is she perverted like me?
Would she go down on you in a theater?”

Unfortunately not, hence my biggest theatre disappointment ☹️

reply

SO YOU AREN'T UNCLE JOEY?!...SON OF A BITCH.

reply

Batman & Robin by far. I was hoping for so much.

reply

I WAS 15 WHEN I SAW THAT ONE AT THE THEATER...EVEN THEN I KNEW MANY THINGS WERE WRONG WITH THAT MOVIE...AS THE YEARS PASS THE LIST OF THINGS WRONG WITH THAT MOVIE ONLY GETS LONGER.

reply

Absolutely. I'd already loved seeing Batman, Batman Returns, and even Batman Forever (which I thought was fine in itself). But I came out from seeing B&R thinking what the hell did I just watch.

reply

I STILL THINK CLOONEY COULD HAVE BEEN A VERY SOLID BATMAN WITH A DIFFERENT DIRECTOR,SCRIPT,EVERYTHING.

reply

I think so. When his casting was announced I was happy with it. I still think he made a good Bruce Wayne. I mean, Clooney basically was Bruce Wayne.

reply

The funny thing is that just a few years earlier Schumacher directed Falling Down which was a really good movie and had the perfect tone for a Batman movie.

reply

I went to see Alone in the Dark (2005) during its opening weekend, and that title pretty much describes how many other people were sitting in the same theater.

reply

I THINK YOU MIGHT BE A MEMBER OF A VERY SMALL CLUB WITH THAT ONE...I RECENTLY THOUGHT...HOW BAD COULD IT HAVE BEEN?...AND GAVE IT A REWATCH...IT'S BAD...IT'S REAL BAD.

reply

I distinctly remember a family of four walking in about fifteen minutes or so in when some incoherent monster stuff was happening, then the sex scene happened with Christian Slater and Tara Reid in the museum laboratory. Five minutes after that, the family left the theater. Perhaps at that point they realized they weren't watching Are We There Yet?.

reply

NOW...I SAW ARE WE THERE YET? AT THE THEATER...I LIKED IT AT THE TIME...HAVE NOT SEEN IT SINCE...I DO OWN IT THOUGH.

reply

The phantom menace.

reply

Seen the” lost in space “remake with joey from friends as a young adult (18-19)and I think compared to lord of the rings it really sucked

W
Edit: was 98, dont think lord of the rings was out yet, but seen it at the same theater

reply

YOU SAW A MATT LEBLANC FILM IN THEATERS?...DID HE SEND YOU A THANK YOU CARD?

reply

I was never so pissed and disappointed as sitting through Spider-Man 3 for the first time.

reply

SSANDMAN WAS PRETTY COOL THOUGH.🫤
