Avengers Endgame.

reply

it was in 2005

Not really fancied it since then

I feel like the grandpa in "The lost boys" :
"Thats about as close to town as I like to get!"

I don't go to the theatre as much anymore. If I do go, I make sure it's for things that "have to" be experienced on the big screen.

So far this year, I've see only 5 films at the Cinema.

1. John Wick Chapter 4
2. Across the Spiderverse
3. Oppenheimer
4. M:I - Dead Reckoning part 1
5. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3

No disappointments. Had an absolute blast with each of them & I'm glad I saw them on the big screen.

reply

Missed JW4 at the cinema - but I did pick it up on Blu-ray the other day.

reply

Definitely buying all 5's physical copies. Been a while since I enjoyed ALL the films I'd watched on the big screen. There are usually a few disappointments

Already got my JW4 & GOTG Vol 3 Blu-rays this past week

I remember you mentioned this, I still find it funny Captain Giallo, but I’ve got a wife and daughter so I get it😄

reply

Lol Definitely not my kind of movie.

Like you, the last one before that was Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but 3 times.

reply

Not quite enough gore and mayhem, I know lol.

reply

Wow, I think it was Joker.

Edit: I'm an idiot - it was The Flash. But Joker was the one previously.

reply

What was your experience with that? I mean watching it on the big screen & all that.

Personally, I'm glad I watched The Flash & the new Tramsformers movie, Rise of the Beasts, at home

I didn't hate them. Just thought they were fine.

reply

I liked The Flash a lot. Audience was positive too. Really glad I saw it (I was always going to, for Keaton). I'll be buying the Blu-ray.

reply

My lil brother was way more hyped than I was. And he was way more let down than I was.

I actually enjoyed the first half of the movie, a lot. Everything with the 2 Barrys & stuff.

Didn't really enjoy the Supergirl & General Zod stuff that much. Felt very "tacked on" imo.

reply

That's a shame. I gave it 7.5/10
