Any ๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿ”” lovers out there?

I came across this today while reading the news.

https://www.mprnews.org/story/2022/06/07/twostory-fourlane-taco-bell-drivethru-restaurant-opening-in-brooklyn-park

I haven't eaten Taco Bell in years, but next time I'm in the Cities I just might check it out.

reply

I saw this earlier as I'm also in MN!

I have a nostalgic spot in my heart for Taco Bell, but try not to eat there too often. I went to try their "white hot ranch" steak fries a few weeks ago and was massively disappointed. From now on I'll just stick to the tacos.

I might check this location out just for the novelty if I'm in the area sometime.

reply

I used to live just 3 miles directly west of this new Taco Bell. Small world.

reply

Yeah I tried that also. Not good. I usually stick with the standard taco supreme. Qdoba or Chipotle are better choices for burritos, etc.

reply

I've got one just two blocks from my house. Haven't eaten there in quite awhile though. I'll have to take a look at their current menu.

reply

Their current menu has been scaled back; there are fewer choices for burritos and a limited dollar menu.

reply

That they even still have a dollar menu is appreciated. I took a quick peek and it looks like they still have my favorite burrito, the XXL Grilled Stuffed Burrito. That thing is definitely a meal in itself.

reply

THAT WAS ALWAYS MY FAVORITE TOO...STILL REMEMBER TRYING ONE WHEN IT WAS NEW...I WAS ON MY WAY TO VEGAS.

I like Taco Bell; it's one of those "so bad it's good" places. There is a location a mile from my home that has a great staff... friendly and they get your order correct.

However, if they ever switch to the format described in that article they will have lost my business. I gave up on drive-throughs years ago, and I don't use silly gimmicks like "mobile apps." I place my orders in person, face to face... no talking to some machine. I got tired of missing items and/or incorrect orders. The local Burger King was the worst offender; they were the main reason behind my "no drive-through" policy. Plus I stopped going there when they took the Double Whopper off the menu board and replaced it with that horrible Texas Whopper.

reply

I like Taco Bell. I always get the same thing, 3 crunchy tacos supreme combo.

reply

I've had Taco Bell once. I didn't like it.

reply

The taco pizza is pretty fun, and the banished enchirito is good. I live in the best mexican food country, but theres something to be said for some of their offerings.

reply

Are we talking about eating the same type of tacos?

reply

Taco bell sucks since they hacked the menu down to nothing. Now it's the same food in a different wrapper.
