What are some shows that got you absolutely hooked from the FIRST episode

I feel like a lot of streaming shows nowadays don't get interesting until like the halfway point. You get people being like, "You have to keep watching. It'll get better". Personally, I like giving shows a 3 episode test. If it hasn't sold me by the third episode, then I'm bailing.

And I love slow burn shows but you gotta keep me interested in order to keep watching. I remember not so long ago that the first episode aka The Pilot basically "had to sell you" the show. Most of my favorite shows, like 90% of them, got me hooked on the first episode. Here are some of my faves...

Sure, some of them went downhill afterwards & I kinda gave up on them but that first episode of theirs is still freaking amazing

I couldn't get into Once Upon a Time but Grimm absolutely sold me after episode one. Underrated show in my opinion.

Life is one of my favorite shows of all time. Damien Lewis was so amazing. The show made me a fan of his. Cancelled too soon.

I'm about to do a rewatch myself. When I get some free time at least. It's been so long that I've kinda forgotten the first few seasons. Especially 1 & 2.

I'm not a big rewatcher person . Unlike some of my friends. They like to rewatch stuff up to 5-8 times. I just wait until I start to forget about it a lil bit.

Same thing happening with Supernatural. Rewatching it for the first time ever. Genuinely feels like I'm experiencing for the first time. Honestly, I had no idea I'd forgotten so much of the first few seasons. Especially seasons 1-4

Next stop, Psych & Person of Interest. Hopefully...

The first few seasons of supernatural are the best. I got close to finishing them all but stopped a few seasons from the end.
I've watched psych through probably like 5 times. I love it.
I'm keen to check out person Of interest. Only caught the first season on free to air tv back in day, seemed watchable.

Ha, yes they are! I'm currently halfway through season 2 & I'm reminded why I rate this show so highly.

There's a sense of danger & peril. The episodes are so well written. The seasons are so focused. The creatures/demons/vengeful spirits are a legit threat. Everything is so freaking good.

Anybody who hasn't watched this or who is on the fence about watching it, just do it, Nike style. I was hooked from the first episode. The third season is currently airing. I'm waiting till they all come out so I can binge it. I made the mistake of starting season two too early, waiting for the next episode was torture.

I just started it a few weeks ago. Hands down one of the best and most underrated shows on tv. It's so freaking good.

More people need to know about this gem of a show. I literally just found out about it a few weeks ago thanks to a friend's recommendation

Orphan Black. Unfortunately after a very good first season it was all downhill from there.
