Dictator Trump Seeks 3rd Term as "President"

I warned you. A few weeks ago, he asked Republicans to find a way for him to run for a third term.

I also warned that he wouldn't count it as two terms since they weren't consecutive even though the Constitution states otherwise.
https://www.aol.com/congressman-pushes-amendment-allow-trump-143432652.html

"A congressman is pushing for a law change that would allow President Trump to run for a third term -- but would prevent other living presidents from returning to office."

Say goodbye to democracy and hello to Fascism.

reply

Looks like Republicans forgot already that they themselves have put the 2 term limit into the constitution after the experience they had with Roosevelt who got reelected over and over until he died, which bothered Republicans so much that as soon as they got to power again they inserted the term limit into the constitution.

Are they in for another Roosevelt, or just too dumb to see that coming?

reply

Republicans are hypocrites and power mad. Remember when they didn't want Obama nominating a Supreme Court judge because he had a year left as president? Then they were ok with Trump nominations with only a few months left.

They're for merit hires in regard to POC and women, but vote for unqualified incompetents because Trump told them to.

They're pro-law and police until Trump releases Jan. 6 criminals and then they're silent.

This isn't a true third term since Clinton and Obama can't run. It's a way to placate Trump and create a permanent fascist state.

They "protect" children but support sending in ICE to elementary schools and arresting little kids.

reply

"Republicans are hypocrites and power mad. Remember when they didn't want Obama nominating a Supreme Court judge because he had a year left as president? Then they were ok with Trump nominations with only a few months left."

Democrats do the same thing, every time, you fucking retard. Hell, they tried to get Sotomayor to retire early so Biden could nominate another dipshit DEI hire to replace her.

reply

"Remember when they didn't want Obama nominating a Supreme Court judge..."

Democrats didn't have the votes to confirm a new SCOTUS. Mitch knew this and decided to be dick. But from the Republican POV, why go through the confirmation process if the candidate will be blocked anyway? Seems like a waste of time.

The fault is with the Dems not winning enough seats to be in power to be able to confirm a SCOTUS. I'd hope Dems would do the same if the shoe was on the other foot.

reply

There were enough votes when the vote is based on merit.

reply

I know I've posted about this before (possibly in response to you), but I'm saying this bc I was outraged by it for a while & would still be today if I hadn't changed my perspective.

Instead of thinking "It's not fair, how could Mitch & Repubs be such pricks, it's hypocritical, etc" I thought of it like the rules to a boardgame. The Dems didn't have the votes. Them's the breaks. If you were playing a boardgame would you give up your pieces, your advantages, loose on purpose? Maybe if you were playing with a child. Losing in this sense means giving up power and politicians usually never do that.

I had to do this for my own sanity. One less thing to carry around & complain about.

I agree with your other points though (unqualified incompetents, pro-police until 1/6 pardons, ICE scaring kids).

reply

Not true. Obama and more recently Biden wanted bipartisanship. Republicans decided not to cooperate with Democrats and introduced obstruction in order to make Democrats look bad for the next election. This started with Gingrich.
https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/3609952-did-newt-gingrich-wreck-american-politics/

Running the country isn't a game which has winners and losers. Democracy is meant to have political parties working together and compromising for the improvement of the country and its people. It was more like this when I was a kid.

Us vs Them zero-sum politics is destroying the country.

Trump will be a disaster because he depends on American division instead of unifying and working together.

reply

"Democracy is meant to have political parties working together and compromising for the improvement of the country and its people. It was more like this when I was a kid."

What you're describing is a republic.

"Obama and more recently Biden wanted bipartisanship."

Bullshit. Obama was the most divisive president of the modern age. Then Sleepy Joe said, "hold my beer".

reply

How many times are you lot going to gnash your teeth over this completely fictional narrative? It was mildly amusing when you insisted Chimpy Bushitler was going to make himself Dictator For Life, but the joke's wearing thin now.

reply

Trump: "I suspect I won't be running again, unless you do something."

This is the something.

"During the election campaign Democrats focused heavily on the threat they argued Trump posed to American democracy, with Kamala Harris claiming the Republican nominee "certainly falls into the general definition of fascists." If Trump openly supports a constitutional amendment allowing him to run for a third term these concerns would be elevated, though a section of his base would likely back the move."

All fascists behave the same way by finding ways to stay in power long after their term has ended.

reply

Cry harder.

reply

You welcome dictatorship and tyranny.

reply

That's a good start, but you can do better.

reply

So let me get this straight; a congressman made a decision of his own accord, but somehow It’s Trump’s fault … You really should seek help for your TDS, it’s getting worse.

BTW, you didn’t have any issues about Obama running a third term as shadow president for Biden … such hypocrisy.

reply

Not his own accord.

reply

But I thought Elon was in charge? 🤔🤨

reply

Trump is Elon's puppet since Elon can't be president.

reply

But how can Trump be a dictator if Elon is in charge?

reply

I guess you're okay with senators getting re-elected over and over and over again?

It might be time to ignore this fucking idiot. Seriously, too many lies. Sumbitch has over 35,000 posts and every one is riddled with lies and propaganda.

reply

Senators have limited power and can be recalled or lose.

3rd presidential run is unconstitutional. It's almost impossible to remove a dictator.

reply

just to play devils advocate here -

Having more than two terms does not equal "Dictator for life yo" , as they still have to win the vote . Lots of countries do it , in fact I know of no other democratic countries that have the "win two and its game over" rule.

reply

Why would a dictator need to be voted back into office? Your logic, isn't.

reply

He should serve as many terms as necessary to cleanse every corner of society of the woke rot that has infiltrated it. Starting with the government, he’s already making strides — a proper, old-school purge. Call it a fascist reckoning or, as FilmFleaur aptly put it, a Soviet-style witch hunt a la Stalin. Either works for me. Both get the job done.

The next phase must target private corporations and the business sector. DEI initiatives must be dismantled, and every woke employee pushing social justice, LGBTQLMNOP+-* propaganda, feminism, or anti-racism must be fired and blacklisted, so these agents of degeneracy cannot simply slink off to another institution to spread their poison.

After that comes academia and the schools. The Department of Education should be abolished or restructured entirely, eradicating every trace of woke ideology. In its place, we must enforce a new curriculum — one that is pro-White, pro-American, pro-heterosexual, and unapologetically rooted in traditional values. Universities should face defunding until every gender studies, queer studies, anti-racism, and anti-White program is abolished. Far-left administrators, professors, and even students who promote this ideological cancer should be purged without hesitation. A complete and total purge.

We are done fucking around. No more half measures — It’s time to go all the way.

reply

If they're going to purge woke from corporations could they tax them more while they're at it? Tax billionaires much more also. Why stop at the ideology let's do something tangible too.

reply

Now you're talking. Corporations should be taxed at a rate of 90%, just as they were during the 1950s under Eisenhower. Eisenhower’s reasoning behind such high tax rates was that they would prevent excessive accumulation of wealth among the top earners, while encouraging reinvestment into the economy. This would, in turn, foster job creation and drive economic expansion.
Eisenhower was a Republican, and more Republicans should follow his example. As socialists, we should unite with them to make this happen. As for the neoliberal Democrat and RHINO scumbags, they don't deserve a voice. They should be purged from the halls of power.

reply

Sounds good to me.

reply

So, White Power for you?
Might I interest you in a little National Socialism? A society that is more equal, one that takes care of its workers, its poor, its elderly, and its disabled, allowing them to live with dignity. A place where workers earn a living wage and are respected for their contributions to society. A society where we are all the same race, share the same culture, and live in a high-trust community, treating each other as brothers and sisters, always ready to lend a helping hand. Where degeneracy and subversive propaganda meant to disrupt our social and family bonds are not tolerated. A society where we love our country and are proud to be a part of it. If all of that sounds good to you, then maybe National Socialism is what you're looking for.
And if you're concerned about Jew hate, fear not. I'm not referring to 1930s German National Socialism. What I'm talking about is a literal National Socialism — a left-wing economic project combined with right-wing conservative social values. The perfect combination. The best of both worlds. A socially conservative Welfare state.

There are some good things to learn from conservative social values (& live by).

I can't get behind White Power. Long before the USA was as multiracial as it is today there were always assholes disrupting society. Horse thieves, murderers, rapists, union busters, robber barron's, etc.

Even if a society where we were all the same race was the answer (it's not, but for arguments sake), how would you transition from where we are now to that? Impossible.

reply

As wonderful as National Socialism is, it's not a utopia. While union busters and robber barons would likely not exist in a National Socialist state — they would be disappeared long before they could cause significant trouble — problems would still remain. Just as there were horse thieves, rapists, and murderers, in a homogeneous White, high-trust society, there would still be problems. However, we'd at least be united as a people, sharing the same heritage, the same blood, a common history, culture, and language. This shared identity strengthens our bonds with one another and is essential for a functioning welfare state.

If we are not of the same race and do not share the same culture and values, one group will inevitably outcompete another, and the less productive group will become dependent on the welfare state. This means the more productive group will end up supporting foreigners, which will breed resentment and strife. Save for a few exceptions, we will never view members of another culture or race as true brothers and sisters. While we can be allies and friends, they will always remain "the other." This is a recipe for a weak society that will eventually crumble, leaving it vulnerable to external attacks or internal tyranny.

As for how we transform America into a homogeneous White state, you're right, achieving 100% White is impossible. However, it is still feasible to return to a society similar to that of the 1960s, where Whites were around 90% of the population. The solution is already underway: mass deportations. First, we focus on removing illegal immigrants, then we address criminals, regardless of the severity of their offenses. Then we implement incentives to encourage voluntary departure, offering financial assistance while simultaneously eliminating benefits. This carrot-and-stick approach will help us eliminate a significant portion of non-White immigrants. Eventually we could use the same approach to repatriate some blacks back to Africa.

reply

It was FDR who raised the taxes on the rich to 90% to end the Gilded Age and wealth inequality.

You voted in an oligarchy therefore that's not going to happen.

Fascism never ends well for its supporters.

reply

FDR is my favorite president after George Washington. And for the last time, I did not vote for Trump — so I don’t know why you keep bringing it up — I don’t vote for Republicans.

reply

So he wouldn't be too old to serve again?

reply

No.

Biden and all those other career politicians in Congress were old, and yet, they did nothing but destroy our country.

Trump has accomplished more during his first 100-hours than all of them.
