I've always felt the exact opposite. After Diane left it seemed like every character became a one-dimensional cartoon. Sam, in particular went from having a reasonable amount of depth as an ex-athlete, trying to deal with life out of the limelight while grappling with alcoholism, to being an air-headed horn dog with no purpose in life other than getting laid.

Zinc Wigger really got his goat. "Blasphemy"! That reminds me of the time New York governor Kreepy Kathy Hochunt told an audience that they needed to be her "apostles" when it came to spreading the word about the totally safe and effective covid "vaccines". What is it with leftists and their god complexes?
I'm not trying to be that guy but almost every song listed in this thread is an FM radio staple that has been played to death. I don't really need to hear any of them again in my lifetime, no matter how objectively good they are.
I'm more drawn to stuff that hasn't worn out its welcome, either the pre-golden era, cover-heavy albums, or songs like "Sway", "Torn and Frayed", "Winter", and "Citadel". Of the Ronnie Wood era, I'm partial to songs like "Heaven" and even guilty pleasures like "Almost Hear You Sigh".

It sounds like you were unburdened by what was.
