I hear that a lot. I also hear a lot of groans about the current Disney expansion. That's why I thought of this. You take basic themes and a stock story and apply the features to it. No politics, no disrespect to the original movies, and it can easily make a family film. I'm sure you're right. I stopped actually caring about Star Wars before Disney got a hold of it. I refused to watch any of the sequels since revenge of the Sith. Ah... I still don't care to see it. No. "the movie wasnt that bad" You realize that this phrase means it's still bad right? No, I won't be wasting my time on it. The trailer was terrible and you're confirming it's was bad, just not the absolute worst. A and D I agree. Aside from the hair coloring and makeup, It holds up. Rarely. About 1 a year. They're usually the silent era films. Yeah, but there was no real teamwork there. Think October sky or the Explorers. Episode 1 was an abomination . I don't think we actually had a voice for our generation. Gen X was the generation that was the secon heavily influenced by corporations. Boomers being the predominant. Our heroes, movies, music, and news was an ad campaign for perpetual consumption. Now everyone is a subscription junkie who owns less now that physical media has been deemed unnecessary. And sell my soul to the devil? No thanks. Disney can suck a steaming bucket of diarrhea. I usually put him second after Ray Stevenson. This movie was the better film as it has a consistent tone. But I like Stevenson's Frank Castle more. Try getting a real hobby. Blah blah blah politics. Let it go. Fair enough. X-Men may have started the superhero trend, but most of the movies are trash. Deadpool is a joke that overstayed his welcome Avengers finished their story years ago Batman sucks. There's 3 decent movies with him in it. Joker is just like Batman Harry Potter had it's time. Now it's time to let it ho. X-men Deadpool Avengers Batman Joker Harry potter Hunger games Avatar I don't hate or love it. I just won't watch it. The trailers were loud, obnoxious, and they looked gaudy. The music used follows the same trend as all the modern trailers. The costumes look cartoonish like Speed Racer. Most people I know wouldn't waste the time and money to see this in theaters because of the trailer. As for the lovers and haters, that's just Fandom. For the normies, we weren't willing to lose the money and time on this. BTW, the cast doesn't matter when a trailer was that bad. He and Eli Wallach knew how to pull an audience in with their voice. Fuck No. No more pulling geezers back onto late sequels to bait nostalgia. Sigourney Weaver did her best. Ripley's story doesn't need another revitalization. You may as well make it a multiverse flick with Jamie Lee Curtis, Amy Steel, Jennifer Aniston, Bruce Campbell, Ashley Lawrence, Caroline Williams, Joley Richardson, Kevin Bacon (or Michael Gross), and Amanda Pays with Peter Weller. Let's just empty the old folks home for more nostalgia because that hasn't been done enough. Shit, add Ellen Burnstyn and Linda Blair for another go. Al Bundy - always working to provide yet rarely got any appreciation.
