Dr Loomis?
According to federal officials, over the last six centuries, the gulf has also been known as the Golfo de Nueva España (The Gulf of New Spain) and Mar Di Florida (the Florida Sea), among others, reflecting its long-contested history between France, Spain and other European countries as they colonized the New World.
If it was once The Florida Sea, why not the Gulf of America?
The winners get to write the history.
I have tried once or twice, but I have to go with that funny George Bernard Shaw quote. "Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty and the pig likes it."
I do not like vulgar language and unending hate.
I do appreciate your wise and fair posts.
I believe the person the OP hates the most is himself. Each time his username appears, it should come with a hazmat symbol beside it. He is insufferably toxic.
Glad to see a kind post. Do people here think that wealthy families do not have pencil marks on the kitchen walls to mark their children's height? Or the last "I love you" Birthday card from their Mother who has died? Or some memento from long ago that inspired them to work hard and get to where they have gotten?
It is a matter of respect and protocol. She was the only First Lady absent. Laura Bush, Hillary, Jill, Melania, and Kamala and her husband showed up. It was the proper thing to do, regardless of party affiliation.
Even Steve Ford, son of late former president Gerald Ford, spoke and offered the Carter family condolences: “God did a good thing when he made your dad.”
Ford then read a eulogy that had been written by his father, whom Carter ousted from the White House in the 1976 election.
“By fate, for a brief season, Jimmy Carter and I were rivals,” the reading began. But Gerald Ford wrote that it led to one of the “most enduring friendships.”

Free speech means just that, not a man throwing a pie in a woman's face. That is assault.
Assault with a diabetic weapon.
;D I saw that one and a couple of more Pinocchio excuses that were made.
Fair enough. That was a winkie smile - ;D The "double" meant two smiles.
"Crickets" mean silence, or in MC terms, no one responds.
"Tumbleweeds" is another analogy for no response. I have lived in France and will be returning.
On IMDb, even the Dance and Classical Music Boards had activity. Ici il n'y a rien.
Edit: That last sentence means 'there's nothing here' (like that). Most sites think I am a guy.
You edited this post. ;D You added the last sentence to seem like you actually DID comprehend my earlier post. double ;D
Not a guy. And if I watched every screener or link I receive, I would not have time for the entertainment I enjoy.
Paul is not wrong.
I do not want to be unpleasant. I know how you feel. I watch mostly International films and television and when I post a comment ... crickets. It is frustrating. I miss the IMDb boards where there was always someone with whom to discuss non-blockbuster movies.
Yes, I get screeners, and do not always care to watch them. This was one of those.

Wrong. I received a screener of this some time ago and did not bother to watch it.

No, I have not seen it in the past hour since I posted this. You even responded to it. ;D
I have seen DDA and many if not most of Al Pacino's films. No one save for me dictates what style of acting entertains me.
Strange response to "I am surprised there are no posts." They were in a Golden Globe winning film.
The Keyser Söze drama was part of Verbal's masterful charade.
I do not love Dog Day Afternoon because I am not a fan of Pacino. I know I am part of a tiny minority, but he comes across as hammy to me.
Here is a review from Them Us, a popular LGBTQ site.
