Nope. Neil was on a work trip. The plane going to Wichita was out of his control. The Cab, Motel, Food (Up to a certain amount), etc would most likely be reimbursed by his Job. His cash being stolen he is SOL with, as for the Car...Maybe his Job has Travel Insurance. They answered it in the movie. There are no flights until after the holidays due to it being Thanksgiving and the weather caused massive delays/cancellations. Del has no home so he lives in Hotels/On the Road. He can't get a flight anywhere so he rented a car to go where ever he wants to go next. He just go lucky and ran into Neil; Neil had already told Del he didn't want to keep traveling so I think it was just a coincidence he ran into him. That's the point lol. They're out of $$$ and have no Credit Cards so they go to a beat up Motel. The first hotel had a Lobby, Restaurant, friendly front desk clerk, etc. But the second one was just a off the highway cheap motel. So the clerk was just a oddball. I know that. My question was more because Whip was Drunk and High he was flying his own way and kind of aggressive, I always wondered if that played a small part in the plane breaking along with the techs not doing their job. True, good point and feedback. Yea they don't say that is why I always love hearing fans feedback or thoughts. My guess is his flying didn't break the part, but it probably was broken and being held on very loose and maybe his aggressive takeout kind of gave it the final push to break. The movie is about Sarah Palin, Not John McCaine. They wanted to get the Looks, Personality and Voice down perfect for Palin and they nailed it. Also Ed Haris was good enough and they got the look pretty similar. The voice sure that was mehhh, but everything else was fine. He might not have been Convicted yet, just arrested. He could have just been in county jail awaiting Trial. Good point. Plus he's pushing 60. Hard enough to get a job at that age. This is actually really a good thought and very possible. Never thought of it. And yea Steven was way obsessed with Robin...Knowing him they probably only dated 3 months before he proposed. You know what I realized..I did not word what I wanted to say right....The Timing of Stephen ending the friendship is what I hated I guess. Had he done it at Medievil Times or a different time sure...But the fact that he did it after Chip fixed the Cable during his date with Robin and after she thanked him for the free Cable (AKA he realizes Chip got her back) was where it was wrong. My biggest issue is Steven blaming Chip for the prostate...Sure he could have let him know that was what she was, but again Steven choose to sleep with her. I get what you're saying and Yes I agree that Chip was bizarre and weird and way too much...But couple things. 1. Steven went to the satellite for his own enjoyment too...He was beyond Depressed and didn't just want to sit in his apartment mopping. 2. The Basketball scene was too much. I would have been pissed. 3. Chip did fix the Cable when Steven needed him too (Even though we can tell Chip caused it to go out, but Steven didnt know that...The Medieval times was pretty cool. A bit much bit still Cool. 4. Breaking into his apartment was too far and even though the gifts were nice. Still too much. 5. The Party Steven Agreed too. Also him sleeping with the prostitute was also his decision. Steven could have said No to both things. 6. He did get Robin back then... Trust me Chip way overstepped at times..I am just saying the Free Cable, Fixing it when Robin came over, Medieval times and getting Robin back were some really nice things. Back then most trains did not bother with asking Kids for Tickets. When I was 8-15 I use to take the train/sometimes amtrack to my dads, because it stopped at both my mom and dads towns train stops. The amount of times a conductor would walk past me when I was 8-12 and not ask me for a ticket or anything was huge, most of the time they just assume you are with a parent and the parent is in the bathroom or maybe on the phone in another car. 1. Middle of no where Motel that probably does not make much $$$. No reason to keep it super clean 2. Yes it does, them watching it and realizing what they are stuck in makes the videos more entertaining because you see them try to get ready to defend themselves or work out a plan and then fail and get killed. If they didn't see it, they wouldn't be as scared. 3. Yea I agree. 4. Well if there was a lock on the trap door it would have to go both ways. So Luke Wilsons character could then lock from the outside and keep the killers in the trap...Also if there is a lock, it would waste more time and possibly noise for the people to realize it. 5. Def do agree with this 6. Very cool idea and I would of liked 7. True...BUT There are like 14 rooms in that motel that usually never have more than one group of guests staying...Look at Mason when he is checking in the couple and talking about the gas station. He looks like he is vetting them to see...If a Cop or someone with a weapon would have stayed, Mason would of most likely just put them in a room without cameras/Snuff films and just left them be for the night Dude it doesn't take a genius to figure out the Manager was in on it...They found 2-3 snuff films in the room of people being murdered in the room...The manager seemed off when they met him and was watching something with intense screaming when they walked into the lobby... Terri the girl who ran off and called him a loser was his girlfriend, but she dumped him. The Asian girl who showed as his door was just some random person who thought Happy was calling to her. The other golfers were better lol. Pretty simple answer. Obviously Shooter has been playing for years and was in the tournament when the other guys won their gold jackets, he got better each year and then the year for the movie is where he pretty much knew he could beat all the golfers competing before Gilmore joined. I thought it was bad, then I saw the Rise of Skywalker and realized how decent the prequels are. NOTHING is worse than the Rise of Skywalker.
