the most unrealistic part of the movie
At least to a younger person today... A Christmas bonus. What the hell? Does anyone still toward the beginning of their career still get these anymore? You know, without being in politics or Wall Street?

shareit's still a thing
sharemany moons ago, a company I worked at gave out christmas bonuses. of course mine was only around 300 bucks. but at least it was something.
shareBack in the 90s, I always received a Christmas bonus, although it was just a small amount since I was at the start of my career. Nowadays, however, most companies tend to award bonuses based on performance appraisals, often tied to the end of the financial year which is March in my case.
shareI've worked in a grocery store since 2008 and used to get a Christmas bonus but haven't for years.
shareDude Yes lol if you work for an actual good company or are in a high role. I just got my Christmas Bonus a few days ago. $6000. Up from $5000 the year before. Took me 6 years and two bad companies of working in the corporate world before I got with a company and role that gave us nice benefits. Clark also has been with his company 17 years so it's very realistic.
