Since it doesn't deal with the Michael Myers story, I won't rank Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982). Though it is a very interesting movie with a lot of atmosphere.
I refuse to even acknowledge (let alone rank) the Rob Zombie "films," if you can even call them that.

Honestly doesn't sound good. If Orlok is going to be so much more "sexualized", which is very much unlike the original character, why not make something else?

Yes, Batman: The Animated Series is hands-down the best version of Batman (and all characters/villains) ever. Much better than live-action could ever hope to be.
None will ever be as good as the original.
