Yes, he's really that sick. Parkinson's is a very serious disease, and you live with it until you die. He got it at a really young age. Most people with it don't get the disease until they're much older.
No tricks. To me, Michael J. Fox has a lot more appeal to him than Tom Hanks does, at least now.
Nope, not my first time. I really like the movie. Has some holes but that's okay. I watched it once before with my family as sort of a "movie list" with my dad that he was trying to accomplish (he's almost finished with it) and he has certain movies that he likes to watch with my niece when he invites her over. She's really into "scary" movies, (horror/thriller.) Nothing scares her.
Empire Records is a good one, and of course the Princess Bride is a classic
I'm not saying that, I'm saying an incel can like any film and anyone can like this film.
I don't think he's trying to say Mannequin is the best in terms of quality but it's based on his own enjoyment.
A rotation of my favs in my mind are probably more accurate to me as well.
It's a cute movie. I love Andrew Macarthy and Kim Catrell together. My dad had that movie on his watchlist and it took him forever to find the dvd. Apparently it was hard to find, don't think it is now. I'd like to watch it again.
Are you kidding me? That is a stretch, you could call anything an "incel" film
Mannequin? Bold but cool, nice
I'm Gen Z, and I'll have to disagree with you, a lot of people in my age group love the old Spider-Man movies. Honestly? I like all of them. Now, if we're going younger than that.... then yeah, I don't think they have the same appreciation for it.
(I don't know what DEI means.)
Mostly teenage girls/young adult women like her. For me, she's nostalgic and I grew up liking her music. I wouldn't go see her in concert, but I enjoy revisiting her songs sometimes. Even my dad, who is quite critical of music, found her 1989 (not the year, the album's name of course) album to be great.
I just made a top 10 list for a friend so this works out.
1. The Secret Garden (1993)
2. The Sound of Music
3. The Truman Show
4. Back to the Future
5. Sense and Sensibility
6. Hugo
7. The Prince of Egypt
8. Napoleon Dynamite
9. Spider-Man
10. Flipped
Middlemarch, Daniel Deronda, Dr. Thorne, The Way We Live Now, all great period pieces
-Little Dorrit
-Bleak House
-North and South
-Pride and Prejudice
Literally any period piece
Awww I get it, but that would be so fun
Does it have to be from moviechat or can it be from the old imdb board days?
There are good remakes here and there, but most of the time they're crap.
I was watching Spider-Man (the original 2002) the other night, and I was trying to figure out if there are any modern movies made in the past year that are better than it. There aren't. I couldn't name one that was better.
From what I remember in an interview he said he's lived a good portion of his life in both the UK and America
Oh, so she was the girl.
Failure or underappreciated gem?
It's a little bit of both. I thought the first season was decent. It was a promising start, but went downhill pretty quickly. The cameos were fun and all that, but later on the storylines with "life lessons" just weren't working.
