I watch movies almost everyday/night
There are always diamonds in the rough, and there are always crap films no matter the decade. The answer: just watch old movies, because yes, they're better.
My dad has always said the movie is supposed to encapsulate exactly what it's like for a small town to be trapped in a decade, this one specifically living like it's the 1980s even though it's 2004, given the soundtrack and styles.

I didn't know people disliked her so much that they wished death upon her. I liked her and thought she was a good friend that spoke up for herself. Sure, she was a little too stern with Andy, but that's probably because she doesn't have kids of her own and didn't know what it was like to be a mom.
Now, the teacher in the second movie, on the other hand....
Creepy dolls scare me, but I love this movie. As dumb as it can be, it's fun and I don't even like most horror.

I've been enjoying it but it's always tedious reading most classic books. They take forever to finish because they're so long. I've seen the 2004 mini series adaptation quite a few times. I find it to be pretty different.
I've also been listening to War and Peace on audiobook.
It's a good story that I've always loved. I haven't been listening to it as much as I used to. Once I go back to school I think I will. I'll be able to have something to listen to while I drive and work on school work.
I was making sure someone added cockroaches. Termites will suffice.

I didn't use the word "good," I was just saying I think it's better than the newer stuff.
Oh I know the message and I'm not going to subject myself to it.
So you said "I probably think his work is pornographic" when I never said that and then you're essentially saying it is after making it seem like a bad thing if I were to think so.
Of course someone defending the film "Cuties" would twist my words around. You know I didn't say Shakespeare is overrated. I said Romeo and Juliet is and that he has better plays. Is that calling him overrated if I said I like his other stories? They're not banned where I am by the way. We read all those stories in school.
