Of course you have seen "Arachnophobia", correct? I would say that it is similar. How about "Eight Legged Freaks"?
Nope. And I feel sorry for people (or should I say sheep) who have to go with the crowd instead of having their own thoughts and their own voice.
You have a right to like anything and dislike anything you want.
A lot of these people who say you should like what they like are in fact practicing a form of the very thing they scream against - discrimination!
I agree that the world spinning backward belongs in the theatrically released version of the film, but I still wonder what the two movies would have looked like if Donner had gotten his way, and not the sketchy "Superman 2 - The Donner Cut".
The Salkinds (The producers of both the first and second film), were overbearing a$$holes who gave Richard Donner such a hard time during production, that he had to rush Superman 1 into production. He was directing BOTH movies at the same time to help keep costs down, and the Salkinds told him to release Superman 1 into the theaters before he had finished all the scenes for BOTH movies.
Had Donner had been able to finish both movies, I believe we would have received TWO great films.
But, sadly, the Salkinds fired him soon after the first was released and then got Richard Lester to finish Superman 2.
No, just you and a few others ...
I think Baldwin would have been a good choice. After all, look at "The Shadow". He knocked it out of the park in that film!
Nope. Just because there was a scene at Christmastime, doesn't make it a Christmas movie.
Considering that Clint's character was actually the ghost of the sheriff that had been whipped to death, it would fit that the horse would also be other-worldly.
I think that, in the beginning, the young ape was unsure if Kong was a friend or foe.
My guess is that they were trying to do a version of Civil War from the comics, which could go either way.

I agree with the OP.
There will be some who disagree with me, and that's fine. But I wish they had actually hired John Krasinski and Emily Blunt as Reed and Sue. Even with his "demise" in "Doctor Strange and The Multiverse of Madness", they could have brought him back as an alternative universe Reed Richards. I think Both John and Emily are really good actors (i.e. "The Quiet Place").
I am not sure who I can picture as Johnny and Ben. Because, I personally didn't have a problem with the first two movies. And I thought that Chris and Michael were great as Johnny and Ben. (And no, I wouldn't want them reprising their roles - age and the fact that I will ALWAYS see Chris as Steve Rogers now))
Understood. Even though gay couples can now adopt...
HAHAHA!!!
Maybe. Of course Oppenheimer was real. Godzilla isn't.
Okay ... I get it. You think that the phrase is just bad.
Any new suggestions?
Your opinion ... Not mine.
Sort of agree. I didn't really like either "Superman 3" or Superman 4". I felt sorry for Chris. He still gave it his all as well as he could with the script that he was handed.
But, the producers chose to take shortcuts, instead of trying to equal the quality of the first two movies.
To the OP: I feel very sorry for her. She has a very twisted set of human values. I hope it doesn't happen, but someday her looks are going to fade and if she continues to use plastic surgery, Botox or what ever, she will be come a caricature of a woman.
