Sometimes it is the only option, Alan Rickman saved Robin Hood Prince of Thieves for example. I find it hard to believe a director can just decide at the last second that a role requires nudity and if he was thinking it might require nudity why choose an actress who has a no nudity clause? Never heard of her anyway. Even Terrorists call themselves "Freedom Fighters" just saying... The Rebels win at the end of Return of the Jedi. The general story of Star Wars is solid, yes more developed characters and better scripts would be great. Just a more adult orientated production and visuals. Darker and grittier overall. Han would probably take over as the lead character. And definitely not the last couple of seasons of GOT! For me whether it be a model or a puppet they are at least "real". CGI isn't real. It looks terrible in the prequels anyway. I have seen some war films where they CGI just about everything and it looks like a computer game. It stops me from enjoying a film anyway. Each to their own. In terms of a remake, some things I wouldn't mind would be a grungier take on it all. Not going for the kiddies and toy market anymore. No silly characters designed for toy sales. Think Game of Thrones in space. I always liked it back then it didn't see much different to the other TV sitcoms, they all had sad moments. I think the models and scenery of the originals look far more convincing than CGI. What people always miss is Mongolian actors were scarce in Hollywood back in the 50's. People never wanted but most at least pretended to be tolerant. As this is a TV show and movie site I am thinking of all the TV shows in particular that will just be gone. So many have some kind of Trans/Rainbow Mafia propaganda. Or just Woke in general. You won't have the Renaissance of the 2010's and early 2020's like you did with 70's and 80's shows. Bingo! I think they were meant to be late 20's. People back then aged differently though, Norman Fell was only 53 yet to me looked at least 10-15 years older. A woman dating a man 10 or so years older than her especially back then wouldn't have been seen as a big deal. And why does the father never have a say? It's in her body but that is just biology, that baby is partially his. And then you have the Trans thing where just because a kid says they are the other gender they have to be believed and operated on. How is that ethical? That is some weird Nazi experimental stuff going on. I feel that old school formula continued into the 2000's. Big Bang Theory had that same feel. True. Yes most of Hollyweird are Left Wing loonies, they seem to be unable to comprehend that no one cares about them and that the majority have decided on a change of Govt. Then you have singers like Springsteen who is supposed to be some kind of working class folk hero yet is oblivious to the fact that the working class have rejected the Democrats. They are out of touch. I agree they should just entertain but most of them aren't even good at that. It bothers me how much they rejoice when they gain this "right" to kill their unborn. I will agree that in some cases it might be the preferred option but to be so giddy about it is unnerving. They are more interested in their "rights" then their responsibilities. There are many ways to have sex without becoming pregnant, one of the most effective of course is not to have sex. Not every actor is going be an A Lister. Samantha has had some good roles but she never made a huge in impression in films asides from Pump Up The Volume. I loved her in this movie and was excited to see she was in Broken Arrow but she was ordinary in that film. A big part of the problem is Beth is meant to be 34 in the first season but the actress who plays her is much older. A lot of the characters are younger than the actors who play them in this show and it becomes confusing. Beth doesn't act like a mature woman, she acts like a spoiled brat despite her tough bitch facade. I don't like Jimmy either or the 6666 ranch which seems more industrialized than Yellowstone ranch. I don't see much point in yet another spin off.
