For you to be familiar with VCR how old are you? The quality on vhs was crap but we never knew until DVD and even then it was digital TVs that made the real difference. You should also introduce him to music cassettes and vinyl records! Sounds like the Armourer is very inexperienced and only got the job because of her father. https://nypost.com/2021/10/25/rookie-armorer-on-baldwin-set-said-she-loves-to-show-how-safe-guns-are/ Kids aren't just for Christmas, they're forever. Yep, I think it has only become a thing recently where the newsreader starts showing some personality. Traditionally it has been a very steadfast older male who people trust. Now on some shows that have a news segment you see the newsreader breaking loose afterwards, chatting with the hosts of the morning show etc So if that still qualifies as a news anchor maybe that is what some actors are trying to be. Either that or their research was based on watching Anchorman. Yeah I work with IT people and most of them just do their jobs, no fanfare, no weird toys displayed around their desks. No quirks etc They are different from each other as well, some young and fit, others older, some do fit the cliche stereotypes but not all. But I guess in a film that would be boring. I am thinking of Aussie films and TV now and our actors suck they are actually too realistic in how they act and there is a lack of personality on screen in most cases. I then realize that they are actually portraying their characters accurately and I wished they wouldn't! One of the SJW crop of "comedians" who just make political statements and other SJW's laugh because they are told it's funny. But it's not funny at all. Because they are trying to act. It's like actors playing soldiers or cops or anything else. A lot of people and types of work are understated, even boring. An actor is trying to make it more exciting or better than it really is. The irony is when the don't play it up they get accused of being wooden. Even if the character they are playing would actually be rather wooden in reality! What always amazes me is the people who claim to be oppressed are the ones who actually oppress others. Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) the idea the bad guy (who is dead) can get you in your sleep. So simple and complex at the same time. Even when I am somewhat interested in a clip I find myself turning off. Because Youtube throws more ads in the longer a clip goes, I feel some channels stretch their clips out for that reason. I find myself getting bored with them dribbling on and wish they would just get to the point. And sometimes they never do get to the point at all. Haven't listened to it yet. I am finding myself more of a fan of their classic work late 70's through 80's mostly. I know this album is different and they have gone back to epic length songs which can be a little hit and miss at times as they can get dull. I don't think it would be the actor's responsibility in the end. What if they knew nothing of guns/prop guns? In the end it would come down to the Director and Producer to have final check on all weapons to ensure these things don't happen. Do you have to provide reasons? It might depend where you live. I have been a landlord here in Australia and I could just decide and not have to provide reasons either way for my final choice. Of course, you can't advertise for any demographic specifically or say any are going to be barred. I think the key is to just allow who you want in but never broadcast your preferences! A movie called Angel from 1984. I was about 11 but knew the character who was a highschool girl by day and prostitute by night was hot as well as her clothes. Another movie was Tuff Turf, the chick with the super long blonde hair did it for me. And Aussie art film Man of Flowers, there is a scene where a model slowly undresses for the artist. I was probably 8 or 9 when I saw that. I was corrupted young. For a while now I have felt that the writers never expected this to last more than a season as such it has become more and more outlandish. I also feel some of the recent new females added were just to even out the gender numbers a little as it was male dominated. I also don't get the ex junkie with the hot chick he scored either and they are of a similar age. Tom Hanks would be one of the biggest. Started with some really lightweight roles in comedy and then graduated to more serious stuff. "Well baby, as they say in the movies. The end". My theory, not only on Robin Hood films but anything medieval/Dark Ages (historical in general) is the film makers wreck it by trying to be "Diverse" in various ways. A film like Excalibur is still the benchmark for Arthurian legend, what has been made after that has been very "Woke" non British races in key roles, modern hairstyles and costumes, women in roles they may have not been in etc. I think with the Foxx version word got out early, that happens with the internet of course. People see previews etc and I know I can work out if I will like a film or not very quickly. Just a certain "X Factor" about it. With the Crowe version, I believe that Crowe was already well past his popularity at the time and is a very polarizing actor. By the way there was also an English TV series on Robin Hood which is considered to be the most authentic to the legend at least for the first couple of seasons. The tird season gets a little weird. It was made in the 80's. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086791/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robin_of_Sherwood
