I honestly didn't remember the original Jeff...these episode are so far apart that I forget a lot of things.
It's very frustrating to see her blow every lucky breaks she gets.
They didn't have the guts to kill or cast aside useless characters. Mike, Wil, Jonathan and Argyle served no purpose in Season 4.
Most Asian women barely age between 20 and 45. It's not because she looks younger that she is.
It had a few interesting elements, but overall I thought it was bad. It's not the hidden gem or cult classic some people make it to be. Remove that ONE scene and most people wouldn't have talked about this film at all.
The movie takes place in the early 2000s, before smartphone even existed. The first Iphone arrived in 2007.
When the drug dealer shows the tape of the guy jumping off the cliff, the date on the recording is july 19th 2000. So the movie takes place a few years after that.

You get very slowly poisoned over time. When they found Will he was nearly dead with blue lips and pale skin. Only the Hawkins lab employees wore suits. The main characters crossed to the upside-down unprotected and were fine.
I don't get this sudden burst of love for Season 4 as if it was the greatest thing ever and somehow redeemed season 3 problems.
Also you gotta ask yourself...why didn't Vecna kill 4 people to open the gates in season one if it was him all along?
Why did he keep Will alive and prisoner in the upside down for days?
Maybe I'm wrong, but I got the feeling she or her agent insisted on that tight shirt which she keeps even after leaving the "bath". To show Hollywood that she's not a little girl anymore.
Also, the old rambling deputy is fine to have around town, but there was no logical reason for the sheriff to make him part of the posse. It's not like he had any special tracking or shooting skills either. Where were the able-bodied men in that town?
I think the point is that they only exists to get pregnant and give birth. No limbs and sight required for that.
If they could have seen in the future when casting Stranger Things, I think only Gaten Materazzo (Dustin) and Sadie Sink (Max) would have been picked because they maintain a youthful appearance at 20. The 3 other kids grew up way too fast after season 2.

Laughable compared to Jurassic Park, but at least they had an animatronic baby dinosaur costume /puppet that was on the set with the actors. It wasn't just stop motion and blue screen.

Nothing wrong with some representation.
What we see now is an ridiculous obsession over LGBT representation for what is essentially 5% (gays) and 0.2% (trans) of the population. The way things are going, you would think that those percentages are closer to 25% and 20%.
Surprisingly enough, before fanatical militants got crazy about about this, 5% and 0.2% was still less than the representation we had in movies and TV shows from the 70s up to the 2010s
