I just discovered this recently on Netflix and am still working my way through it. Produced by Neill Blomkamp of District 9 and Chappie. I'm very surprised to be the first one to post about this series.

Although this isn't an animated series, it's a series of sci-fi shorts that has the same sort of vibe as Netflix' own series. Some lean into black humour, others lean hard into horror. All the ones I've seen so far are deliciously f****d up, and I mean that in a good way. The special effects are top notch.

Creature feature Zygote is a mix of Aliens and Blade Runner... no spoilers, but the monster is the most weird and creative thing I've seen in a long time, and I would pay to see a longer version of this short.

I'm loving it so far, but definitely not recommended for those who get queasy at body horror.
