How sad - people need to get out and mingle with others. Occasionally I have days when I don't leave my house, but those are rare and even if I don't have anything to do, I'll find a reason to get out.
I love going to a movie theater with a huge screen, overpriced popcorn and beverages. I recently took my grandson to go see The Wild Robot at a theater that serves food at your seat and we had a blast - simply not the same experience at home.
That's the one thing I miss about IMDb - the individual boards were very active. - movies as well as TV.
First thing in the morning when I'm having a cup of coffee and then again at night. I don't post as much as I used to.
I wish the individual boards were more active.
Agree - the title makes me think they divorce and remarry, but if I recall correctly, Sheldon mentions Georgie's wives all send congratulations to him, so that implies more than one person was married to Georgie.
I completely forgot to record this, so will just have to catch up this week. I always liked Georgie and I hope this does well and wish Annie Potts would make appearances throughout the show - she was definitely one of the best parts of Sheldon.
I liked Six but was underwhelmed by Wicked. If I was going soon I would probably go see Sunset Boulevard and Back to the Future,
It's just like people calling their entrance hallways "foyers" and attached baths "en suites." So pretentious and in the case of foyer - it really refers to an entrance in a public building, not a private home.

I'm looking at two different itineraries, but all ports are primarily along the east and southern coasts - not going up north. Both cruises go to Korea for 1 day. One itinerary goes to Nagasaki and Hiroshima - not sure if I want to do both of those.
I looked at some land tours, realizing they are more immersive into the culture, but I've done those in Europe and there is always free time and some evenings on your own which were great when I traveled with my husband, but just don't want to do that by myself in Japan.
LOl - I will have to look that a up. I see it means, "how are you?"
I always try to learn words and phrases when I travel - not there yet.
Is it easy to navigate the airport if you can't read Japanese? Are any signs in English?
I've been to both places and to me I get more of an Asian vibe in Vancouver, not sure why - they also have spectacular cherry trees. One year I was there at the tail end of the season and they were still beautiful.
Great - getting ready to book a 10 night cruise. I will be traveling solo on this one.
How big is the hole? I would put a small. thin piece of board across the hole on the inside, then cut a piece of drywall the same dimension as the hole and screw it into the board above. Then use fiberglass mesh over the area. Use a thin coat of mud, apply the mesh and smooth out with a drywall knife. Let it dry and sand lightly, then topcoat with another thin coat of mud. It won't sag and it will never show - as long as you sand it smooth.
I found $50 on the floor of a lounge on a cruise ship. My husband and I stayed a while longer and had another drink while waiting to see if anyone came back looking for their money. They never did, so I kept it and gave a few larger than usual tips to the staff with it.
Agree. Also suggest you first take the HOHO bus around town to get an idea of what is where. I always try to see a show and if you are in the Broadway area try Ellen's Stardust Diner. Very talented singing waitstaff and the food is also good. It's a unique place that I always enjoy.
I like autumn, but I love summer - sad to see it go along with less daylight hours.
If it goes away I will miss occasionally chatting with the two of you. As I have mentioned before, this site filled many long hours during Covid when I couldn't go out and there wasn't much to do. Fortunately, life is better and I'm leaving on a cruise next week with a friend. Starting in Quebec City and ending in NYC.
Nope, tried watching them a few times and I want to watch the game, not look at Peyton, Eli, and their guests. Not saying their show isn't interesting, but game is almost secondary.
Yep - been getting a lot of those lately.
