In general, summer TV pretty much sucks. Looks like the only upcoming show that I'm interested in is House of the Dragon, which I believe starts next month. Way over - I'm 73. I like both characters - looking forward to the new show. It's nice to know from the BBT, that Georgie becomes successful and rich. I will miss this show, but I always liked Georgie so looking forward to the new one. Astrophysicist for NASA Chick Flicks - First Wives Club No - they are too sweet. LOL - the only thing I did was to paint the walls and help with the tile in the shower. My son and (adult) grandson helped and did the demo,(which was a MESS), and I hired my son's ex-FIL who is retired and knows what he's doing for everything else except the shower tile, which my son and I did.. It was a part time project so it took about 10 weeks to complete. Right now the inside of my house is my priority for this year. I just tore my bathroom down to the studs and did a complete remodel. It was one of those "what the hell did I get myself into" projects. Lots of water and old termite damage underneath the walls. It turned out beautiful, so I'm happy but I have box gutters in that part of the house that need to be relined - always something with old houses. I tore out some boxwoods that had blight. They had also become overgrown and were choking out my wisteria. There is also another bush in the same area that needs to be removed but just might cut it down for this year. Most of my flower beds are the way I want them. I read the book years ago - right after the original TV series first aired. It seems to me the 1st show followed the book more closely than the new one. I enjoyed the new Shogun, but I liked the original better. We had a really nice above ground pool 12x30 with a deck around it. The kids loved it but as they grew older it was used less. My husband and I occasionally went swimming, but not that often. We did keep it up and had just put a new liner in it when a deer jumped into it and shredded it to pieces while getting out. That was the end of the pool - we tore it down and now it's just a grassy area in our backyard. I was there 6 years ago and had a wonderful time. In Capetown, our hotel had a shuttle that took us to places to shop and dine. We were there for 3 nights before going onto our safari and I never felt unsafe. Just go as a fact finding mission and make NO commitments and don't acknowledge you might have done something in error. Thank them when they're through and politely tell them now you will have to consult with your attorney with the information they have provided. Best for you to talk as little as possible. I've been there 4 times - once was a land trip and the others cruises. Beautiful place - too bad it takes me so long to get there from Ohio. The Caribbean is much closer for a tropical vacation. I live in the path of totality, so was able to see the corona, which was beautiful. Not always - sometimes there is an auto tip on groups. Happened to me yesterday - had 20% added to my bill at an upscale Easter buffet. I took my son's family out - there were 6 of us. Never had one - they look gross. A real pain in the ass. Have fun. I love London and it's been a very long time since I was there.
