Are all pictures of Jesus breaking this commandment?
Is the song in the movie or the credits? I’ve watched it since childhood and was surprised I don’t recognize the song all.
I don’t think so. She wouldn’t be getting responses like “hang up the phone and make me why don’t ya” if she smacked him around regularly. Buzz on the other hand almost certainly does. You can tell by how timid Kevin is when entering buzz’s room shortly after.
I agree. The Scientology shtik ain’t gonna cut it if he’s trying to max his number of MC pages. I suggest he start identifying as a female then we’ll see what’s what.
Not sure how to answer the waking up with a vagina scenario. Maybe if I also had amnesia I could be convinced I was female, I don’t know. But if I simply woke up and someone had surgically make me appear as a female, but with my memory still intact, I would believe I was a mutilated male. This isn’t really answering how someone like Elliot determines their biological sex is incorrect. Do they base it off of what society thinks females and males are supposed to be like, or what they’re supposed to be interested in? How can someone know what being the opposite sex is supposed to feel like?
The way it’s written makes sense. Some seem to claim that the biological sex and the brain’s sex can mismatch as some type of birth defect and that it is an actual fact that they are a mismatch. As though Elliot page somehow got a man’s brain at birth. A person being confused about their sexual identity because of society, upbringing, life experiences, abuse, trauma is reasonable, but to claim their body is in fact the wrong sex… I don’t see how anyone can make this claim.
I’m trying to understand how a person can determine whether their brain is male or female. Someone like Elliot Page says they’re actually a male, how is this determined if it’s not by reproductive organs?
I know I’m male but I don’t understand how a person could determine their brain doesn’t match. What can they base it on?
How does a person know if their brain is male or female?
I wanna know how someone concludes they are the wrong gender. If you like things that guys like then you’re a guy, regardless of biology? Or if you “feel” like a guy. How would a woman know what being a guy is supposed to feel like? They’d have no way of knowing.
The real tong po’s shin wouldn’t have busted like that. The guy was kicking one of these with his fucking legs. Had Chong Li tried that to Tong Po’s shin, plaster would’ve been falling down.

Not sure which sketch you’re referring to. There’s one about dice, wheelchair grease and safari flaps but I doubt that’s the one.
Oh that actually makes sense! It always bugged me that that scene seemed like nonsense but I bet you’re right. Thanks!
Assuming it’s not a dream, what are the plot holes?
Also, I’m not sure it’s meant to be a dream in the book series. I don’t know much about the books at all other than that the movie Return to Oz was based off another of the books and the movie treats oz as though it’s a real place and she even brings a key from oz back to Kansas.

Breef, it’s what’s for dinner
I also saw it between 10-12 years old. The twins randomly appearing early on and then showing up in the hallway creeped the shit out of me big time. To this day I’m still amazed that two girls simply standing in a hallway could creep me out that bad and that Kubrick knew it would creep people out. I’d been scared by normal horror by that point but not by anything like this. The man-bear-dog scene as well.
I never had that sense. I guess at the bar he seems pretty upset that Wendy doesn’t let go of the incident where Jack yanks Danny’s arm so maybe she’s a nag. But I thought the movie seems to portray the whole family as pretty good/normal, at least when Jack is sober. Book might be different, I don’t know.
I emailed him. He says he was still recovering from the multiple face slaps he endured just prior to his match with hawks.
