I can see 2 issues with what you have mentioned:
1stly Batman (1989) wasn't the birth of the comic book movie, since there had been numerous other comic book movies out before it, I mean all 4 Superman films came out before it did.
2ndly Avengers Endgame isn't the end of the series (or even the end of phase 3).
I am also sure that if you go back to any year you would be able to find something that would make that year stand out from others in any industry based around technological advances in the field alone. Every year things adapt, develop and imitate what has come before.
My guess for 2029 would probably be that very little will have changed other than film makers using adapted techniques and more expensive advanced equipment to film and edit their movies.
It sounds like you're someone who doesn't like to take responsibility for your action, so just blames everything on having a disease. People who have cancer are cured with medication and different forms of treatment, people who claim to have addiction recover from talking about it (without having to take medication).
I have seen Just Before Dawn a few times but it's been a while (long enough for me to forget what happens at the end) so I will probably re-watch it again soon also.
I keep forgetting that he was in lots of horror movies I just keep remembering him from his role in The Naked Gun movies.
Waxwork is quite an enjoyable flick, Probably one of the better wax related Horror flicks.
Thanks everyone for all these great recommendations, There are quite a few that I have seen and enjoyed, but are probably more listed that I haven't yet had the pleasure of watching. Lets try and keep this thread active since it is always nice getting recommended a good film to watch.
The First Power is a good film, Lou Diamond Philips is an actor I do like to see in horror films and I believe this was one of his first horror films (or his first in a prominent role).
I have a collection of over 3,500 horror films listed Alphabetically so it is much easier for me to do it. since it just takes me a few seconds to look at one, its harder for me to tell what year it was released though without looking online.
U. Urban Legend 3: Bloody Mary 2005
S. Scream Park 2012
I wanted to try and shake things up by picking one that not many other people would have chosen and feel like I succeeded.
p. Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead (1994)
N. Night of the Creeps 1986
The Flux Capacitor is from Back to the Future Part 3
The Genesis Device is from The Wrath of Khan
The Navajo Code Cude is from Windtalkers
So the Answer is None of the above
Or 4. The Enigma Machine!
There is only 1 film that I would consider a Masterpiece which is
Howard the Duck (Obviously!)
I would consider a masterpiece in relation to its own sub-genre, 12 Angry Men is a masterpiece of court room films, Lord Of The Rings Original Trilogy are masterpieces of Fantasy, Star Wars Original films are masterpieces of Sci fi, Halloween for Horror, Fargo and Usual Suspects for Crime, The Big Lebowski for Comedy, The Dark Knight for Action etc.
My point is I would consider something a masterpiece based around whether it stands out from other films of its genre and consider it not to be a masterpiece if it just comes across as something which is more of the same.
try telling that to a cancer patient who has had to have a part of their body amputated to save their life, diseases aren't something you can will away like addiction is, smoking is addictive and loads of people quite smoking everyday on their own. you can't just chose to no longer have cancer without going through different treatments, whereas you can chose to quite smoking, drinking or taking drugs.
From any particular film or is that just in general. If so whats your favourite Werewolf film?
