Most movies suck.
How dare you. She was the love of my life.
Oh yaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh
How do you feel about a white squall?
Yah.
Nah, he was awesome in it.
I used to go two or three times a week. Until Covid, it was a pretty popular social outing in Los Angeles.
Very sad.
Yeah, it’s definitely a shame. He and his wife have always seemed like good people.
Many, many times. I did the all-region audio/video mastering on the DVD boxset of Eastwood’s films. I’m guessing the year was either 2013 or 2014. With the exception of my old coworkers, I doubt that there’s a person currently alive who’s seen The Eiger Sanction more times than I have.
And yet, even that film was far more resonant than J. Edgar. Fascinating.
The Ellie in Sagan’s book is the same Ellie that Foster and Zemeckis put on the screen.
Call Hollywood’s 1-800 number immediately and tell them. They need to know what you’ve discovered.
He was doing movies like that before “Titanic“, too, such as “This Boy’s Life”, “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape”, and “The Basketball Diaries”.
On what metrics are you measuring “J. Edgar“ that cause you to say it’s better than “Titanic“? It goes without saying that “Titanic“ is an extremely well-made and engaging film. “J. Edgar“ may be about an interesting topic, but at best, its execution is lackluster and misguided.
Fake tits. Hers are real, though.
“Maybe you didn’t understand it”
This sentence is the single biggest reason why casual moviegoers hate people who love film. So fucking pompous.
