Perhaps by the standards of 2003 this movie sucked, but in 2020, it’s considered a masterpiece.

Well it’s not like they knew Covid was going to happen back when the film was green-lit. Honestly, I’m actually surprised it didn’t cost more than $200 million, but I suppose that’s due to there being almost zero big-name actors in it.
Given that thousands of people visit the site every day, I’d say it’s a fair sample of America’s movie-going audience.

It seems a bit extreme, considering that the worst he’s done is make disappointing movies. As long as he doesn’t touch the Lorenzo’s Oil franchise, I’ll give him a pass. At least he’s putting food on the table and not begging for government handouts like so many people in this country at the present moment.
